I have to admit, I was managing my expectations when I bought these as being "cutesy" and likely something I would end up tossing or regifting, but I was so wrong. I've been using these bags for months now...for homemade bread and store-bought, and I have yet to have even a spot of mold. I've kept bread in the freezer, the fridge and on the counter for weeks, and still the bread is fresh, not dried-out and delicious. I also find them easy to clean. They do say they are machine-safe for laundry, but I'm not washing them with clothes and detergent, thanks. But they DO turn inside out very easily for hand washing and drying in a jiffy, so super easy. I would buy these for everyone I know (and am in the process!).

These are great! They are large enough for my homemade bread, which is significantly larger than store bread. They keep my bread fresh and the zipper works great. I put one in the freezer and my bread was still fresh when I removed it 2 weeks later. This will greatly reduce my plastic bag use. I recommend buying these!

Wasn't sure about these when reading the product description and purchasing, sight unseen, but these are excellent for storing homemade bread — even store-bought bagels and more.As fall temperatures cooled and we moved into winter, my desire to bake fresh bread renewed. But what to store it in? These bags are perfect — large enough to store two rectangular loaves in, and they keep home-baked bread fresh for a week or more, even though it has none of the preservatives of store-bought items.Very pleased.
