So this worked for about a year, was very noisy from new. I would often come home to a cold pellet stove. Well, it gave up completely when it was 8F outside. So I had no choice but to pull it apart in desperation to keep my family from freezing… one apart, I couldn’t believe my eyes! No grease from factory! Freed up the stuck bushing and filled the gearbox with grease. Working like a champ and quiet as can be. Come on Quality Control!!!!

Both motors that I ordered were obvious previously returned items in opened boxes missing the optional connectors that were supposed to be included. Second motor had connector with insulation broken off end.

this auger motor is very easy to install. remove the clip and the old motor slides off . align the shat , slide in and install the clip. the problem with this motor is that it doesn’t provide enough pellet feed . i need to set the the feed rate to a next level setting to get the same pellet feed as the original motor. it’s as if the ratio is less than my original motor . now i need to put it on number 3 setting to get a normal number 2 setting and s on.
