As a former Krups customer this is now our 2nd Brentwood. This new model is far superior to the one we bought a few years ago. The body is more substantial and the water runs through more slowly for a rich, delicious cup of coffee. We are so pleased we just ordered a spare. Highly recommend.

The lock mechanism (the black lever) broke as I tried to lock it the very first time I tried to use it. It was a gift from work and I never had a chance to use it. I was so angry I tossed it in the trashcan. Save your money! Don't buy this hunk of junk.
