For a novice Kombucha maker I was having trouble keeping stable temperatures during the colder weather. The features I liked about this heater wrap are the ability to set the temperature and it cuts on and off as needed, and the wrap has a Velcro band to secure it to the jar. Hoping for more consistent brew times and flavor now that I can stabilize the fermentation temperature!
