I live in the south and these mailbox covers usually have a short lifespan on my mailbox due to the searing sun we get 10 months out of 12. So I swap mine out frequently. I've become a real fan of these Briarwood Lane Mailbox covers, in fact, my last 3 purchases were all from this brand. They fit my mailbox exceptionally well and the colors are stunningly beautiful. I highly recommend.

I've recently purchased several Briarwood Lane mailbox covers and a garden flag. The flag earns 5 stars while the covers, 3.5.  I have no problems with the quality of either...all vividly printed and of sturdy materials...but I can't overlook two issues with the covers.I'll start with the packaging. If only the covers were packaged like the 12.5" x 18" garden flag, which arrives fully extended...no folds, no creases. I have other flags made of a similar firm polyester that were folded (usually twice), so I can report that not having to steam iron out well set-in creases is a real bonus. The 20.75" x 18" covers, however, arrived folded in half, with well set-in creases that cannot be ironed out because the covers are made of vinyl. (See photo of cover right out of the packaging.) I have tried placing the fully-extended cover under a heavy bookcase for several days, followed by placing the cover bent in the opposite direction under that book case. The crease now is not as severe, but the cover won't lie flat on the mailbox, allowing rain water to seep under which could lead to mildew.I do recognize that there is considerable difference in width between the flags and covers (12.5" vs. 20.75"); but if the covers were likewise packaged unfolded, they could be loosely flipped over for shipping...thus, preventing these sharp creases that cannot be fully eliminated. As for the second issue, look at the other two pictures I've attached. One is a close-up of an illustration from this page and the other shows a new cover on my mailbox. The opening for the red flag is considerably larger on the covers than what is shown in the diagram, which I consider unfortunate. I do understand that the size of flag mounts and placement can vary from mailbox brand to brand. However, if the opening--sized as illustrated--is too small, the vinyl can be easily trimmed whereas if the opening is too large (as with a medium Gibraltar mailbox), nothing can be done. Overall, neither concern is a dealbreaker for me. If there are consecutive days of rain, I can check under the cover and remove any moisture. Further, I selected covers with mostly black backgrounds to blend in with my mailbox, so the oversized opening won't be glaringly obvious. Still, even though I love the designs on these covers, I'm not likely to purchase any more from this company because of these issues that could so easily be avoided.

It’s so pretty, it makes me smile every time I see it. I’ve started a trend. Three others have gotten covers for their mailboxes since I bought mine.FOLLOW UP: the cover lasted for 8 months then fell apart. Literally it came apart in my hands like cotton candy. I still enjoyed its beauty for 8 months.

Good durable material (but adding gromets to the holes along the bottom would be better!) Colors are bright & I ordered the matching garden flag for even more outdoor color! Can't wait to finish the look by planting flowers around the mailbox!

This mailbox cover is NOT what I expected. Quality is very poor. I used it once last summer when Ireceived it and that was about a month on the mailbox. I change my covers according to the season.This should have been fine stored until this year. Here it is June 1st and I get it out to put on themail box and it is dry and brittle and tearing as soon as I open it to cover mailbox.I have covers that I have used several years for a couple of months each season and they are stilllike new. This cover does not begin to compare with all my others.Very disappointed and wish I could return it but of course the window has closed for that.

I really wanted to love this mailbox cover, but they sent the wrong one. I am afraid to reorder in case they make the same mistake. Guess I’ll have to pick a different company and choose something else. Disappointed.

This mail wrap didn’t last the season. The edges started to curl, the vinyl became brittle and cracked and it faded very quickly. I had to put up my fall mail wrap today that I’ve had for years.

Liked the design and the purchase experience was smooth. However the product is not durable for the intended purpose. It did not even last the spring season
