I initially a different set of "fairy lights" but ended up returning because it just one long wire.This one is set up with individual strands connected to a big, long cord.Setting this up would have been easy with a tiny bit of thought from me. But I was impatient. and suffered for it.I also bought these to serve as a nightlight because I can't sleep in the total dark and they have been working very well for me. I use the dimmest setting, with the setting set to "steady".So anyways, here's my experience with setting these up:+ I severely underestimated how long 9.8 feet would be. But I ended up rolling up the ends and making little fat "icicles" and I'm pretty happy with the results.+ These come with little hooks to attach to a curtain rod but I found these to be extremely tiny and useless. Therefore, I just taped these to my window frame and they hold very easily with simple clear tape. It also looks nice for me because I have sheer white curtains that hang over the lights.+ Unrolling the individual strands is a little rage inducing if it tangles but it's actually pretty easy to unravel/untangle them.+ The remote works very nicely. I'm not sure about the timer function just yet but the lights are very pretty in the dark.The only complaint I have is that other than "steady" and 2 "fade" options, the lights are too... spazzy.Other than that, I would highly recommend these. They're super pretty and give off the perfect amount of light.

bought for a background light for a wedding. All lights were working, had no issues with wires . Will be purchasing more in the future

I bought these bulbs to update my outdated living room chandelier without spending a lot of money and to add brightness to a dark room. I removed the glass shades and replaced the led bulbs with these Edison Amber Daylight ones. Love them!My chandelier looks so much better without those tired glass shades! I wish I took a photo while the shades were still up.We live in an area that is surrounded by tons of trees and shrubs, so inside our house is always on the dark side. I have to turn on this chandelier everyday, whether it's day or night. These bulbs give the room a nice brightness through the amber glass!

So stunning and high end looking. My only complaint is that the bulb doesn’t hold its charge that long. Have to recharge every few days which is kind of annoying.

I’ve noticed a lot of people having trouble getting this fixture mounted to the wall because they think the screws aren’t long enough! You need to flip the bracket over! It matters which side you mount to the wall.

The screws that were provided for the mounting plate were too short. I was unable to get the disk to attach to the mounting plate as the gold screw caps could not engage the threading. The screws should be 1/8 in longer to make this a much easier installation. Poor quality product, would not recommend.Update: after contacting the seller, they openly acknowledged that the instructions provided were incorrect. They initially offered a full refund but now have stated they will only offer $10. Even after using the updated instructions, there is still an issue with the steel mounting plate not screwing into the wall appropriately. Do not purchase this product until the seller fixes this issue!!!

I really liked these lights once I got them up. I knew I would need some extra patience to tackle the unwinding and it did take a while and a couple of glasses of wine, but so worth it. The remote feature works well and it lights up my bedroom with subtle, golden light. Am pleased with the purchase. I did find the little hooks very helpful in helping to space each strand.

I love everything about these. It’s the perfect amount of light in my room to create the relaxing vibe I wanted. The settings on the remote to change the brightness or the pattern is convenient as well. Easy to use and set up on my curtain rod, no hardware necessary I just propped them along the rod/curtains and they’ve stayed up just fine.
