I wrote a previous review of Brio train sets and accessories so I will just restate that Brio train toys are great for little imaginations! The quality is excellent and the sets can be interactive for little people to set up their own “idea†of how the world of trains should be designed!

This was a gift to a two-year-old who had just become a brother to a baby girl. He already owned and loved quite a large Brio layout and this fire-fighting set added a new dimension. All the pieces are well-made, smooth, colourful and sturdy. Set up by itself, when he first received it, it offered plenty of play experience, encouraging motor skills and story play. Added to his larger collection it amused him (and us) for hours.

The BRIO Rescue Firefighter set was a hit when we opened it for our 2 year-old. He enjoyed it immediately, liked pressing the button on the engine vehicle, and enjoyed pushing the vehicles around the track. Our 5 year-old also showed great interest in it. So I think you can probably go in to this purchase knowing it will be used and enjoyed.In terms of quality, I found no defective elements and was pleased by the overall sturdiness of the toys. The fire engine vehicle makes noise, butt he noise was well-calibrated, unlike some toys. Not too loud, not ear piercing. The tracks fit together well and were free of any rough or splinter-ey edges.I think this set is overpriced for what you get, personally: 3 small vehicles, one figure, two small buildings, one transparent fire piece, and some wooden track. If this were Lego, let's say, I think it would be about half the price, and Lego is not known for its reasonable pricing. I think it should retail for about 60% of what it is currently listed for on Amazon, which would bring it in line with comparable toy sets.

My 2.5 year old grandson LOVES this train! (His grandmother also enjoyed playing with it!) Very sturdy and as part of the Brio collection - can be added to other sets to make as big a set as you want. The "hose" was a big hit as was the ladder and little driver that can be attached to the ladder.

Jestem bardzo rozczarowany. Produkt nie został zapakowany w ogóle. Jak można nie włożyć klocków, które same w sobie maja cienkie pudełko chociażby w zwykły foliopak lub stretch ( a najlepiej w karton) ? Pudełko przyszło zniszczone, rozcięte z boku (załączam zdjęcia) i całe oklejone etykietami kurierskimi . Kompletnie nie nadaje się na prezent, wstyd coś takiego dać. Cudem są wszystkie klocki. Nie mam czasu odsyłać ale NIE POLECAM nikomu ze względu na sposób wysyłki.Same klocki - jak to BRIO - klasa sama w sobie.
