I wasn’t sure when I ordered this if it would be too thick, but it’s perfect! It fits tightly and looks great! I needed something for the cold winter months to cover the north facing window, but I soft want it permanent. This rod is stylish and not flimsy at all.

My bf installed this in our shower in less than 10 minutes. its so sleek and nice. I really like the matte black finish. hoping it will last a while.Update 7/9/22It fell down a couple times, and one the ends has a chip. And the shower rod holders both kind of fell off and began losing its stickiness. So I’ll have to buy another rod eventually.

When I was assembling this tension rod I was a little concern about the way it’s made but it worked perfectly and the gold shade looks better than I thought, not like a bad yellow gold but a warm gold which is what I needed. The tension holds super well together the stability is great.

Unlike every other rod I've purchased this one has threaded sections instead of a slip-fit. Makes the rod much more sturdy and worth the money. Highly recommended!

This item was really easy to assemble. It is very sturdy and looks nice in the bathroom.

Though the product looks nice, it fails at what it was designed to do. There were numerous problems with my curtain rod - namely, the inner spring was not secured in place, so applying any pressure would push it deeper into the rod (without creating any tension). Additionally, the rod would not remain the desired length. It would naturally shorten itself, meaning it would not stay longer than a few seconds in the window. Terrible design.
