The Broan-NuTone AE110 Invent Flex ENERGY STAR Qualified Single-Speed Ventilation Fan has truly made a difference in my home. This sleek white fan not only looks great in any bathroom, but it also performs exceptionally well. With a CFM rating of 110 and a sones rating of just 1.0, it efficiently removes excess moisture and odors, leaving my bathroom feeling fresh and clean. What sets this fan apart is its flexibility. It's easy to install and can be used in various locations throughout the house, not just in the bathroom. The energy-efficient design is a big plus, as it helps save on electricity bills while still delivering powerful ventilation.I've had other ventilation fans before, but the Broan-NuTone AE110 stands out for its performance and reliability. It operates quietly, so it doesn't disrupt the peace and quiet in my home. Overall, I'm extremely satisfied with this product, and I highly recommend it to anyone in need of a reliable ventilation solution.

redid a bathroom, and this AE50 was just the thing to replace the existing (but non-functioning) fan that was literally 50 years old. Very quiet, moves enough air in a 520 cu ft bathroom with shower, even though I had to choke down the exit port to mate with the old corrugated foil exhaust, so a fair amount of resistance. Good manufacture.

I purchased this to replace my undersized bathroom fan, this unit is A lot bigger, which required me to cut the ceiling as I expected, I had to extend my wiring since it's not on the same side as my original one, not a big deal but it was more work, also keep in mind this is a 4 duct, so get yourself a 3 to 4 inch adapter. The fan works great. The cover however is very annoying to put on, the clips keep popping off, hence the 4 star. Otherwise it's quiet and it sucks great!

This fan does not have brackets that are anchored into the ceiling joists and slide thru the housing. This housing is screwed directly to the joists which makes for an easier installation IMO.I was replacing a smaller fan do I needed to cut some sheetrock, but I was unable to position the housing where I could use the brackets at designed. I ended up bending one bracket 90 deg and screwing it to a joist. The other bracket is unattached to anything. I then put some screws thru the frame into the joists on two sides and it's very solid. The wiring is very straightforward, but they do not supply any wire nuts which is kind of annoying. I reused the nuts for the white and black wires, but the neutral had been connected to a screw in the previous housing, so I had to go dig up a wire nut to connect the ground. The fan pops in and out of the housing easily.I did have a heck of a time connecting my semi-rigid duct to the outlet. They are both exactly 4", so that ended up being the most aggravating part of the entire install. After I taped up the duct connection, I taped up the gaps between the sheetrock and the housing, installed the cover, and turned on the fan. It's not silent, but it's much quieter than the fan it replaced and not noticeable with any background noise at all.Pros:Easy installation - Screws directly to joistsEasy fan removal/install into housingFairly quietCostCons:No wire nuts or any hardware at all (minor)Fan outlet is exactly 4" as the duct will be. 3.9 inches would have made a significant difference (minor)

Very pleased. Should have replaced the old exhaust fan years ago, probably a 50CFM if I had to guess. I replaced it with the 110CFM. Compared to the old fan, it's extremely quiet and works well... One more thing scratched off my "to do list"... next!

I needed to install a vent fan where there was none and this was the fan I chose. It's about $40 more than the same Broan fan that is louder. This one is very quiet.I bought this based on the product description pictures, thinking this was one that could be installed without any studs to secure it to but it is not. The pictures of the product also show it has flanges on the metal box and mine they were folded up. I almost returned this for the above, but I was able to find a crossbeam above my shower to directly screw this into after making new holes and using stainless screws to secure it. I needed to use silicon to close the gaps around the hole I cut out also, which would have been much easier had there been flanges like the product pictures showed. Overall a good fan, but be very careful about the 'room side' description. You absolutely have to have a stud right flush above with the hole you have to secure this to or it will not work. No hanger bracket kit was included and is optional to purchase separate if you need it.

I replaced an older Broan fan with this newer one. Installing the new fan was easy but it is much more noisier than I expected.

The actual bathroom did not had a fan. After some research I decided to buy the Nu-Tone single speed fan. I'm very happy with it.Kinda start the installation from scratch and it went well. It took me half a day to install the fan, the vent house and electricity, which is not that bad.Noise level is pretty low, it's powerful enough for the bathroom size (13x7 room) and it looks very good on the ceiling.I recommend it.

Easy installation, good draw. Noise wise, its a fan people, fans move air, air movement makes some noise. I'd say for the amount of air it moves, it's quiet.

Not as quiet as I had hoped for but better than my previous one. It does the job!
