Thos tension rod looks very nice and is made of some high-quality feeling material. We haven’t had it very long, so I don’t know if it’s gonna rust or not but it holds up the weight of a very heavy shower curtain that I have and the instructions are super easy to follow.Edit: after looking at this for a few days in our bathroom I’ve realized the color is off. This bronze color is very purple leaning and does not match any of the other bronze accents we have in that room. I’m still going to keep it because it’s strong and good quality but the color is way off and I don’t know how I didn’t see that before.

Who would have guessed that you had to assemble a shower curtain rod? It wasn’t difficult just a bit of a pain for someone with arthritis. Otherwise it looked fine and I would have given it a 5 star.

It's a ok product but has too many pieces to put together. I ordered a different one last year and it came in in one piece. The good thing is that it was easy to put together and it stays in place so far.

Perfect way to add small updated details to the bathroom without breaking the bank. Its easy to install and very sturdy. The length will adjust based on how much twist or untwist the other side so then the spring inside the rod will also adjust at the same time, so the tighter you twist, the better it stays on.

I have been slowing changing over to more matte black fixtures and hardware in my home and this listing caught my eye when I saw it. I thought it would work out nicely in my guest bathroom and I really wanted to check it out.I was struck with the overall build quality when I took it out of the packaging. It is the traditional style of tensioning rod (requiring NO drilling or fasteners) and it feels like it has a much heavier duty spring that the older one I was replacing. The black exterior finish looks to be very good quality and it is really durable. I have been using this for about 3 weeks now and the surface finish looks good and is holding up just fine. The 12 curtain hooks make use of small, "roller balls" and they really help them to glide smoothly and effortlessly. It was huge difference over the screaching, scratchy, old hooks and rod they were replacing. The maker claims they can hold a total of up to 22lbs. While, I have not actually verified that claim, they do seem up to the task when combined with the tough springs within the the tensioning rod itself. The rod is also fully adjustable within a range that should work with most shower and bathtub enclosure widths.Overall, I am very pleased with this well made curtain rod. It is durable, can extend all the way up to 72 inches, and it looks great in its elegant and durable black finish. The current listing price $59.99 is in keeping with the overall quality and functionality and it compares well with "premium" rods I have looked at on display at my local home improvement store. I am giving this product a 5.Recommended!

The BloomFlower Shower Curtain Rod is an excellent way to give your bathroom a makeover. The build quality of the rod is great with a smooth matte black finish that is free of defects and roughness. I was a bit concerned about using a shower curtain rod with a painted finish, but the description does state the surface is chip and rust resistant so will see how it holds up. I also wanted to match the matte black fixtures and accessories I recently installed in my bathroom makeover.Installation was simple as the rod is secured by spring tension. My old chrome rod was the same so it was just matter of swapping them. The ends of the rod do have a thick rubber pad for grip, which did work well. Only complaint is the rubber pad is a bit too thick, so a small but noticeable gap is left between the end of the shower rod and the wall. It would have been better to make these rubber pads thinner and larger to hide this gap. Once installed, the shower curtain rod does feel very secure and it should hold up to 22lbs, so no problem even if using a thicker fabric shower curtain and inner liner.The 12 included hooks work great as they have the beads along the top. They allow your show curtain is glide effortlessly along the rod and a nice upgrade to my existing hooks which were not smooth, and make a screeching sound. I also like that there are dual hooks, one for your shower curtain and one for liner. The price is inline with similar tension shower curtain rods you can purchase at home accessories stores, but I haven't seen one with better hooks than this kit and for the quality you are getting, this makes the BloomFlower shower curtain rod a good value.

Not sure how it was going to be from some of the reviews, but it’s strong and does what it’s supposed to do. Looks great in our newly renovated bathroom.
