I have been a waitress for over 30 years. When I started to have back problems, finding an excellent shoe for work wasn’t easy. The older you get, the more you are willing to spend. After my first spinal surgery, I had to get serious with the shoes. When I discovered these on Amazon, I was over the moon. The shoes you need to perform a job like mine need to be1. Slip resistant2. Solid black if you work at a higher level3. Comfortable, it’s hard to tell when just trying on4. Arch support, but hard to find with all the above requirements5. Can handle wear and tear.6. I’m not going to say washable, because I wipe mine with a wet cloth when needed.I am female, so I had to buy a men’s 2 sizes smaller. The fit was perfect. I wore them to work the day they arrived. OMGosh. I was floating around the restaurant. These shoes are so comfortable and do not need to be broken in. I was very worried about how slip resistant they would be, these shoes are not made for servers. I didn’t have one slip. My coworkers started asking me (that same night) about my shoes. When I told them they were Brooks they didn’t believe me or thought I had lost my mind. Any server with a bad back has tried to find solid black Brooks that were slip resistant and not $200. Wish I could give them 10 stars. Good bye Sketchers hello Brooks. I’m never going back.

Comfortable and a good fit. They enable me to walk longer. (I do add off the shelf inserts, but they are GOOD shoes.

Well made and comfortable. I don’t know if there’s a break in period. It’s a good shoe but I’m wondering why a foreign made shoe is so expensive. I bought the Reebok DMX7 also and I’m comparing the two over time. The Rebook shoes are about the same as far as the summer heat and 50 and below. If you want a breezy shoe for summer the Sketchers arch support are great for summer but not for winter slushy snow and 40 degree weather are too much for the Sketchers. I’ve gotten use to both shoes and the winner are the Brooks. They are more comfortable the longer you wear them and they have a removable insole in case you need orthotics.

It took me three attempts to find a nice fit: ended up with one size larger than I am used to.No complains about its quality, beside it not being slip resistant as was advertised.If you are looking for a slip protection this is not a shoe I would recommend.Otherwise, comfortable and durable

Needed some shoes for work. I was done with the other brand I used to buy. A friend introduced me to Brinks. He’s got wide feet too so he had me try his on-I was sold. I work in slippery conditions and these work great. They’re extremely comfortable and fit great.

Fit well. Lightweight. Very comfortable for lots of walking. Good cushioning in bottom.

Great show very comfortable. Slip resistant in the hospital setting. Don’t mind walking 12 hrs in them. Did show some small signs of being used like a spot of red on the shoe strings but other than that they are sparkling. Needed them fast so I bought them here. If there’s no rush just go to their website. Peace

Hubs has neuropathy in his feet, and he has abandoned all dress shoes due to comfort. He wears the shoes for work, teaching music, and even dress nicely for church. We’d highly recommend. Value is excellent.

Finde die Schuhe passen sehr gut und sind bequem. Im Sommer vielleicht etwas zu warm aber im normalen Winter sehr schön. Auf Eis etwas rutschig, aber die sind ja nicht als Winterschuhe verkauft wurden.
