WIRELESS LAN
With wireless LAN enabled, the PE900 will send you software update notifications and will let you send embroidery files from your PC to your machine via the free downloadable software Design Database Transfer1 (no USB required). This allows for easy data management for all your designs and projects.

You can store thousands of embroidery designs found on CD's, Floppy's, the Internet and more right on a USB Flash Drive and embroider them by simply plugging in your USB Flash Drive and picking the one you want to embroider. There Is No Direct Connection to the Computer Necessary!
3.7" SEW SMART COLOR LCD TOUCH SCREEN
The Brother PE-900 has a truly amazing Full Color LCD Touch screen which allows you to manage all of functions with a tap of the screen. The large, 3.7” Sew Smart color LCD touch screen display allows you to view your embroidery designs in full color. Easily change individual embroidery thread colors using the built-in color palette, and then preview before stitching.
EASY TO USE FUNCTIONS
A conveniently located Function Panel is located right in front of the user, allowing easy access to the Programmed Thread Trimming Button, Needle Up/Down Button and Start/Stop Button.
Bobbin winding is easier with the Brother PE900 Embroidery Machine. Wind the thread four or five times around the bobbin, pass it through the guide slot, and press the start button. Simple.

While embroidering for the first time is a huge learning curve, I can honestly say I love this machine. It is quite large though so make sure you have plenty of space for it to be set up. It’s easy to use, and I personally am glad I spent more on the higher end machine instead of going with an earlier model.

Overall pretty easy to learn by watching some YouTube videos. I have had very few problems with it. It has been a fun new hobby.

I purchased this machine as part of a custom merch side biz a friend and I started. All I can say about this machine is that it’s “fineâ€. It does the job well enough but I definitely wish it was better.Likes:- you can upload your own design which is what we were looking forDislikes:- If you are doing different designs back to back, the machine frequently disconnects from WiFi. I have to reboot the machine several times and resend my design from the app to get it working sometimes.- You can not change the density of a design that you uploaded. This is especially frustrating because I am embroidering white thread on navy pom hats and you can see the navy through the white design (see photo). I contacted the brother support team and they told me to increase the tension to increase the density. I tried that and it got worse. The tension is perfect doing the I test but the density is still not where I’d like.- It’s not very user friendly. I am in my early thirties and it took me longer than expected, and several YouTube videos, to figure everything out.Overall, it’s fine for what we needed and the price.

Brother PE900, I’m a beginner and I’m not a fan of the brand, however, this machine is surprisingly good, it has been easy to learn and works extremely well. I love embroidering Disney characters, the main reason I picked a Brother machine. A larger hoop would be nice though, for the price range.

Honestly do not think this machine was worth 1k at all. Personally feel like they’re just trying to make money. Overall product has been good! Everything is good but the price. If you’re concern about price, go with a cheaper model.

I was so excited to get this machine. I reviewed tutorials, read instructions and finally downloaded a design for my first project. It stops and says to retread. After rethreading twenty times, and troubleshooting, I was told to bring it in for repair! Majorly disappointed!
