Trying to switch my yorkie to a new diet after finding out his Kibble isn't the best for his health and accidently bought a fish flavored dog kibble.... He doesn't like fish, but I don't want to waste the bag. So I bought this stuff as a last resort before so that I can at the very least get him to finish this bag and I can buy him another dog food that he'll actually eat plain. So I sprinkled this on top, stirred it up and gave him the bowl. He sniffed it took a kibble and walked away. I thought oh well... he doesn't like it, but when I turned back around I heard him crunching, I slowly turned back towards him and he was CHOWING DOWN like he hasn't eaten in weeks. Some kibble fell out the bowl and he slurped those back up like it was the best food he has ever eaten... it's amazing... He was looked at me like he wanted more I had the save the rest for his dinner time.THANK YOU FOR SAVING ME 40 DOLLARS! That bag of fish kibble was an expensive accident, but atleast he'll finish it off now.I sprinkled a good bit into the rest of the kibble in the bag so it could permanente all the kibble. It would be cool if this came with a little doggy shaker, but you can just make one of those.

We tried several different toppers for our dog kibble, I prefer a dry topper so it is easy to remain consistent and use when traveling. This is his preferred one that will actually make him eat, it is not a miracle, we have a very picky dog, but this makes him eat.If you have an extremely picky dog just do not expect him to go and gobble it all, but this certainly entices him, while other toppers he will just smell and move away.

I got this to sprinkle on my dogs' food in an attempt to get them to eat all of their food at the same time. I have four rescues and only one of them typically eats her breakfast and dinner as soon as I feed her. The other three are grazers and will only eat when they feel like it. As a result, the one who always eats all of her food will also often come along behind the others and eat their food along with hers. I was hoping this would solve my problem. Unfortunately, my dogs don't like the taste of this topping. They will sniff at it and walk away. I gave a small piece of this by itself to one of my dogs and he made a face and spit it out. Thankfully I have found a different topping that they do like and works well at getting them to eat their meal all at once, but unfortunately this topping did not work for us.

I have purchased this dog food topper twice before and my Chihuahua liked it then, it was finely chopped. This time I ordered it and it was not finely chopped. The pieces were pretty big and hard (see pics) for a little chihuahua to chew. So rather than ask for a return I decided to use my mixer/grinder to finely chop it, so much better now for her. She loves her topper on her dry food!

My Chihuahua, 14 years old, is very picky. I used to use cooked real sweet potatoes to mix with dog food.I was looking for more easy way to feed her, and I found this product. Then, I sprinkle them in front of her and she did not eat. I sprinkled them over her regular dry dog food, and she did not eat at all. Really disappointed with this product.

Two pugs. Older one trained younger one that cooked hamburger, mine, burger king, whatever was totally unacceptable and to be pushed out dog bed, unbelivable. My last dog was a Beagle and would eat anything. My ex cooked these pugs chicken. Not happening. The puppy seemed kinda skinny so I was worried. I have tried every dry dog food with no luck. I observed that they have a problem with dog bowls as well. Their smashed up faces can't get the food in the corners. Regular plates are better for Pugs.I have to smash this into wet food or they just lick it off but it has been a miracle worker. They love it.

I have a very picky pittie mix and she loves sweet potatoes so when I saw this meal topper I thought this would be perfect. When I received it I followed the directions on the package sprinkled it on and mixed it in. She tried it and shook her head and never went back to her food. I tried it again without mixing it in and she sniffed it and walked away. So I stopped putting it into her food and now she likes her dog food. Who would've imagined!

I have an Alaskan malamute. These toppers are too large and too chewy even for a large dog. She would just try and chew them then spit them out. Waste of money.
