A few months ago I purchased a light-up dog collar just like this and was thrilled with its brightness for walking my dog at night, until it died and I learned purchasing replacement batteries would cost almost as much as buying a new collar. Then I came across the same style of light up collar that is rechargeable via USB, which I previously didn't know existed, and ordered it right away.I've used it for a couple of weeks now, every night, and am pleased with its performance. It lights up bright orange that is clearly visible by others, even a block away. I got about 1 week of long nightly walks with it before it needed to be charged, and it charged easily and quickly. The collar still lights up as bright as when it was brand new. Every time I walk my dog using this collar I am stopped by dog parents who love it and want to know where to buy one, as well as people who just think its adorable.I purchased it for my dog's safety because although I live in NYC where there are always street lights and other lights on, even in the middle of the night, my dog is smaller and can't see well. At night people often aren't paying attention or are too absorbed in their phones to notice a dog walking by them. Having this collar on my dog gives me a sense of security that he will definitely be noticed be others while we walk at night. The collar itself is made of a thick, clear plastic tubing that is solid, with a small center piece that connects both ends of the tube and contains the on/off switch and USB charging port. It is one size fits all, so you put it around your dog's neck first and decide where to cut the tubing so that it fits your dog specifically, then cut. I was able to cut the thick tubing with regular scissors, though it takes a little effort (which I'm not complaining about, as it means the material is sturdy). Because it is one size fits all, the width of the tubing is a little thick for smaller dogs (mine is approx 15 lbs with a small head and neck), which I first did not like because I would prefer it to better match his size. But its not too heavy on my dog's neck, and I realize the larger tubing means more light at night, so now I'm fine with it.The collar has 3 settings - constantly on, a fast blinking, and a slower blinking. I use the constantly on setting when we are walking. I used the slower blinking setting when I took my dog on a bike ride and carried him in his dog backpack, for extra visibility to cars. I wouldn't use the blinking settings for regular walks but appreciated it for biking with him on my back.In short, I've found this to be a bright, sturdy, extremely helpful safety tool for my dog and recommend it if that's what you're looking for.

I walk or jog with my dog every morning. We go early so it is dark during the winter months. We are mostly on the sidewalk, but we do cross the street and on some quiet streets jog on the road itself. We both have reflective vests but those only reflect light, i.e. ONLY if you are in the headlights. A car at an intersection about to pull forward will not always see us....even if we are nearly in front of them. Seemed smart to buy LED gear for both of us.This LED collar for my dog is great. We walk or jog daily 20 to 40 minutes. I have had to charge this collar only 1 time after 2 weeks use, which is great. It gets gradually dimmer when it needs a charge. Simple to charge. Plug it in to a USB charger. Red light when charging, green when done. It was very simple to cut the length of the collar so it slides on easily, then slides off. It doesn't seem to bother my dog when it is on and illuminated. Along with his reflective vest, putting the collar on is simply part of the ritual of getting ready for our walk.In terms of visibility, we purchased these originally because I had seen other early morning walkers with LED gear on and I saw them far away. Seems logical they see me now. And I have had several instances recently where a car clearly sees us as their driving behavior changes...either they are braking early before an intersection, moving over or otherwise, indicating they are seeing us far earlier than before we purchased this gear. This was a very inexpensive, easy to use, non-intrusive means of increasing my safety and my dog's safety. Glad we purchased this collar and my LED running gear.

I walk with a Husky meetup group and many of the dogs wear these when it is dark out. Easy to use and fit. Highly visible. The green is the brightest and easiest to see.

My teacup chihuaha is the size of a school ruler. He gets lost in the bushes VERY EASILY. This collar looks so damn cool (he receives compliments all the time), is very lightweight, battery lasts long, charges very quickly, and as you see on the photo, GLOWS VERY INTENSELY.

Well made. Makes my small dog very visible at night. Tiny battery; I recharge mine after 2 or 3 walks.

Love this light up collar! I recommend it to everyone. Used for Halloween on our dog, but honestly going to buy some for our children for next year- they are rechargeable and you can cut it to size

I’ve bought multiple of these now (two for my aunt last year and now one for my mom), and they’re all exactly what I wanted. I dog sit regularly and mostly for off-leash backwoods families. Their dogs are near impossible to see at night until I got these for them. You can see them a half mile away (I know bc last time I had one on a runner and I had to chase him down). They charge fast and easy, and hold charge for days (when used only for walks). They’re fine to be worn in the rain, easy to wipe dirt off of, and cut-to-fit (measure on your dog and cut off the excess). They don’t slip off easily (even on chunky dogs), and are built to last. The collar length is clear (so it doesn’t look like much when the light is off). The color and brightness is impressive, though! Not thick to an uncomfortable extent for small dogs, but perfect for keeping track of them at night. Works great, and I will repurchase for the next overnight dogsitting gig!

My dog is black with some white areas but very very difficult to see at night time. I bring along a flash light but have to focus on me and the neon light focuses on my dog. When I take him for a walk where i live we do not have any sidewalks. This neon light works great, I can see him, oncoming cars can see him. Even when I let him out in the back yard I can see him. So far I have bought five of them in various colors, the green and red are by favorite.

Seems to be good quality and gives out very good light, with good runtime. Have tried other LED collars at similar price range and this definitely is the best so far.

This dog visibility collar is great - I bought it to replace a different collar that was battery powered and died (it's almost cheaper to replace the whole collar than replace those specialty batteries!) The red collar is very bright - we can easily see where the dog is anywhere in the yard, and it is also bright enough to increase visibility of the ground at night for the dog (which is helpful with our senior dog who has very poor vision now), and offers 2 flashing speeds as well as a constant light. The collar length is adjustable - the plastic tubing inserts quite far into the lighting mechanism, so we have it set at a length to slide over the dog's head, rather than connecting and disconnecting one end of the tubing every time, which might prove a bit awkward.

These collars are easy to cut to size and work really well. I got an orange one and a green one - both work great. It's comforting to know where my dogs are when they wander off a bit at the bach on dark mornings.
