The case was just as expected. It holds 3 oboe reeds with no issue and has hole for ventilation to prevent molding. Case is easy to open but won't just pop open.

This 3 reed case works as described. It fits in the oboe case easily whereas a larger 6 reed case would not, and 3 reeds tends to be enough for a starting oboist. I also think her reeds have been lasting longer since using this case as compared to the little cases they are sold in. Overall, a good purchase.

The reed case works...it carries 3 reeds and fits in the little reed slot in the Fox oboe case. However, the PU leather was completely peeling on both the outside and inside in under a year, and the hinge looks like it will not last much longer. For what I paid, it is okay, but I think you'd be better off spending a bit more for a longer-lasting case. In comparison, the plastic Protec 8-reed case purchased at the same time for a few dollars more has held up much better even if it doesn't fit in that little slot.

Will not hold three reeds, the read said it will hold are not properly placed. And it's almost too short for them.The functionality is terribleIf you're going to have good value for what you got go with something else. Pay a little more

We have a new oboe player in the house, so I ordered this reed case not knowing anything about the cases. I am glad I did because the oboe case has a spot just the size of this little reed case. I also learned that it is not good to store the reeds in the packaging they came in, so I am happy with this little "just right" case.
