Yahoo! This works with the Radtel RT-730 to allow the usage of your favorite, and plentiful, K-1 accessories. It is a nice quality product that is well made. I’m thankful I found this adapter because I like my radio, but the lack of usable, and compatible, M-1 accessories limits its benefit.Back to the adapter, it works perfectly for my needs. Allows the use of my favorite hand microphone without any limitations. This is recommended!

I was hoping this would let me use standard headsets with a midland radio so I took a chance since it looked like it might fit. The male side does not fit Midland radios. I am not giving a bad review since it isn't advertised for Midland so it was just an experiment on my part. Either way, I can use the female end and will wire in my own male end since I have some midland plugs laying around (just need to figure out the wiring mapping to see if I can make it work).

It works well and allows the connection of my various devices that use the standard k plug. It is unfortunate that the BTECH design uses a nonstandard plug and requires this purchase to make most accessories work with this radio. Feels like a money grab by the company.

This device really just adds the ability to use a Baofeng, Kenwood, TidRadio, or other standard K-type mic connections and adapts it to the Motorola/Yaesu mini-K type on the radio. It doesn't seem to have any affect on the usability of the mic or the quality of the receive audio so that's a plus. No feedback or ground loop audio issues. It just does what it was meant to do.

Not much needed to say. Get this if you have a GMRS and want to use K1 accessories. Only wish is they could make this waterproof and screw onto the radio.
