I size up with pencil or straight skirts to make room for my hips because I hate 1. Visible panty lines and 2. The line that goes across the hips when a skirt/dress is too tight across the butt. There’s a difference between fitted and squeezing into something lol anyway! This is true to size. For reference, I’m 35-31-40, 5’2 140lb. So sizing up to make room for my hips avoided the horizontal lines in the lap I was speaking of previously. The material is thin, so seamless/laser-cut underwear/shapewear work best. The color is rich and Very pretty shade of red. The arm holes are overly large and bra isn’t shown. The mock neck isn’t a true mock neck, more like a piece of fabric folded over but that’s fine as you’re more likely to wear this in warmer months. The skirt can be placed at the true waist (around belly button) or hips and still reaches the top of the foot. If you’re taller, it can work for you but you’ll definitely want to wear it on the hip line.

Everything about this two-piece set is glamorous. The material is soft and slinky. The emerald green color is striking. The side-ruching on the skirt is elegant. The styling is slimming and flattering. On top of everything, it is very comfortable to wear.

Ordered this primarily for the skirt, which I was really happy to see was actually long enough for tall women when put on. The ruching on both the top and the skirt is cute and fairly even between ruches. The outfit fits as described and the size chart is accurate - and is tight and flattering over the hips area before becoming more of a lengthening column fit below. The top has enough coverage for medium size girlies and theres no glimpses of bra poking out the armpit holes. The color is exactly as pictured.I am disappointed by the quality of fabric, as right out of the bag it is a little rough and already has some early signs of pilling on it. My other qualm is with the waist band, which has to be rolled under to hide the clearly elastic waistband. It's rather thin, like an inch, which is comfy enough and doesn't seem to press on the stomach too much. Even when the waistband is rolled though, it has some unintentional fabric distortion at the top of the skirt, like uneven pleating. This is still much better than showing the seamed in waistband though in my opinion. Overall, decently designed for use and womens bodies, just low quality fabric and no good option for the waist band.
