We had a cheaper wheel that our gerbil literally chewed to pieces and broke apart.We picked this wheel because it didn't look like there were any edges that would be easy to chew up.It was easy to put together, and it doesn't wobble at all under the weight of our fairly large gerbil.There is a bit of a thudding noise as he runs on it (think of your coworker lightly drumming on the desk with his fingertips) but I'm guessing this is more from the weight of the gerbil than anything to do with the wheel. Our family found it pretty easy to get used to, even overnight. But if you're super sensitive to noise, I could see how it might be an issue.But after 1 month, there is still no squeaking and our little guy isn't chewing this one up. So we're happy customers.

ive tried several different brands, sizes, and types of wheel. None of them were as good as this one. it's adjustability is a must, it's completely silent even half a year after use, and it's so ridiculously easy to clean. i just rinse it under water and then do a quick scrub for stuck on bits. it's the perfect size for my mice.save your money and buy only this wheel. the other brands don't compare.

I knew I had to upgrade because all I had was the basic ones from the pet store that are 6.5†and she made a huge racket on it and was knocking into the glass of the aquarium. I just received this one today and it is awesome. So silent and it’s big enough that she can’t knock it into the side of the aquarium and make noise anymore and she absolutely loves it. I would definitely recommend this wheel to anyone with a dwarf hamsters. This is not suitable for Syrian or “teddy bear†hamsters though they need 11-12â€.

Buy this product if you love sleep. Love the height adjustment, it's perfectly silent it's built of quality. By fay the best hamster wheel IV brought. I brought this product before and had to send it back because it was broken but I'm actually happy with the product now after I got my refund and rebrought the wheel and now it's arrived fixed.
