It has been 30 years since I made one of these stockings, so I was a bit rusty. It took forever, and my husband suggested I just not bother, but I persevered! Once I got back into the swing of it, things went well.The instructions said there were two needles, but I only received one. I had to go to Michaels and buy those, as well as red sequins and black thread , as I ran out. Funny, but I accidentally bought brown instead of black, so one dog has a brown nose. Still super cute! I used every clear bead except one. Maybe include a little extra? Many were broken and unusable.The finished product is definitely worth the work I put into it, but I wouldn’t sell that stocking for less than $150! (Not that I’m going to sell it, but never discount the crafter’s time when buying crafts!!!)

I have never made a felt stocking but this one turned out great.The number of steps may seem overwhelming. I decided to put all the sequins on first and then sew all the felt pieces on, which seemed like a more organized approach. I did run out of one of the threads but the kit tells you what dmc floss colors they used, which is so rare, so it was easy to match the needed floss.

Loved the kit and it's turning out great. The instructions were terrible and not written in the right order. I have a lot of experience sewing and beading so I just did my own thing and went off the picture. There was not enough white floss to complete the project but I had some so that wasn't a problem for me. The needles enclosed were unusable. The eyes were not large enough to pass the thread through. A split beading needle was needed as well as a very sharp large eye needle. Again, I had both. The pattern was cute and came together easily. I want to make one for each grandchild.

I was so happy I found this stocking on Amazon! I ordered it to make for my nephew. I started it after Halloween and spent ~1 hour on it a few nights a week for 7-8 weeks. I am a beginner and slow (and often was sipping some wine) This is the second Bucilla stocking I have made (as a no good sewer I have zero experience), the instructions are easy to follow and bulleted out for easy tasks. It turned out so stinking cute. The kit came with two needles (which were a bit flimsy) I intermixed using my needles and the ones in the kit. Comes with enough sequins and beads to have some left over. It is going to make a great gift!

I was making this stocking for my grandson. It is cute and would be cuter if I could finish it. First it came with the wrong directions. Then there was not enough thread. The red sequins look like they are damaged. I have written to the company, I received email directions which was fine. I asked for more sequins since I did not receive enough of them to finish the stocking. Yes they would send. That was almost a month ago. When I emailed again, there was a problem with delays. Good thing he is a baby and didn't need the stocking before Christmas. I will buy sequins and floss at Michaels so I can get this finished.

Easy to assemble, instructions missing steps but diagrams were easy to follow. Looks super cute on the mantle.

i am a lover of arts and crafts, these are very cute to make as christmas gifts for friends and very easy to use, the information is easy to process to help sew everything together, I write the gifted persons name at the top of the stalking. Just this Christmas I must have bought 15 of them!
