I bought one years ago , it just broke on me last fall, I use this for doing most of my carpentry work because it's more comfortable for me and light. Due to my bad back this will last me many years because I had one, I bought it at a Menards of North , down south they don't have a Menards where am at, so I was looking everywhere for this belt, am glad I found it , I know where to order more if I need other on in the future

I bought a leather version similar to this, but had to return it due the weight. The leather belt was heavy in and of itself. I couldn't image what it would weigh once I had tools on/in it. I purchased this belt and am very pleased with the construction, the durability, and the usefulness of the design. It is perfect for small repair projects. stops me from hunting around for the screwdriver, metal tape measure, or hammer I left "somewhere". The appearance is nice, though I would have preferred to not have an accent color around the edges; all one color would be just fine.

I’ve had this for about four months now, and I can say it is a great apron pouch! It has more pouches and more “baggy†pouches than the carhartt apron, which is nice when you keep multiple type of screws/material in one pocket (easier to identify the different types, you don’t have to pull the pocket out away from your body to see). The only drawback is the thinner waist strap, compared to the carhartt version. I hang my impact or drill on the hammer straps on the side, and after a days work with material and a drill on the side, it starts to dig into my sides. Other than the thin waist strap, it is a great apron!

Probably like most of you, as a woodworker I was sick and tired of constantly misplacing my project essentials. This apron is very comfortable. When I first put it on (after customizing) and loaded it with my tools I could hardly tell I was wearing it. When I then took it off I was really surprised to discover how heavy it actually was.A previous reviewer is correct that the placement of the narrow pockets being in the middle creates a pinch point when you're even slightly crouching or bending over. However I knew I was going to customize it beforehand and wasn't worried about this. If you're handy with a needle & thread like I am you can make this thing exactly what you need it to be.By removing the seams for the narrow center pockets I can use it to hold my little notebook for calculations and small sketch ups. By sewing individual tool pockets on the sides I don't have to fumble with a collection of tools in one big pocket, they stay put nicely and no longer pinch my abdomen. The hammer loops are convenient, a nice place to put my square and mallet. Though I'm planning to sew the loop for the square, right now it's just cinched by clothespins. As far as the way the product is constructed, it feels extremely durable, kind of like the "fire hose" canvas aprons made by a certain outfitter. It's a perfect length, stays against my legs when walking instead of whacking against them, and I don't feel like I'm wading through water like I do when wearing a full length leather apron. As for the buyer that doesn't want to sew their own pockets, most of the aprons out there that I've found either have the same center pockets that pinch or are seemingly not as well-constructed. Or they just have the big pockets and no places for narrow measuring and marking tools. In the end everyone must choose for themselves, but if you are like me and want to personalize your buy then this is a great choice.

I really like this apron, its simple and to the point, plus the price was right. I have better gear from several makers, but this is my go to setup. (I don't need to carry a lot of gear, I work in a shop)The only negative I can say is you can feel its not made to last...but at its price I don't mind, I'll just buy another. In fact I'll probably pick up a couple more next week, it will be good to have an extra on hand at work, and I want another for home.

My husband loves it! It looks great without being too bulky. Just pockets what you need to fix around the house, and leave the heavy toolbox in the garage!

I find that this is much more comfortable than traditional carpenter's pouch. I'm a female contractor, and this sits nicely on my waist/hips. It's also more of an "apron style", so the pockets are nice and flat.
