Goes Where You Go

The Bucket Boss legacy began back in 1987, when two men working on a jobsite in Duluth, Minnesota found it easier to carry their tools in 5-gallon buckets. They created the first 'Bucket Boss' organizer made of canvas that fit securely around their buckets. Today, Bucket Boss carries over 100 different products that organize and hold tools in the strongest, most efficient ways. For 30 years, we have prided ourselves in creating durable products that can withstand many years of wear and tear. From our American Field Testers proving concepts in the field, to key technical upgrades in materials and design, we strive to stay ahead of the pack.

I have had this apron/tool bag for four years now. I wore it one night to the Fine Woodworking Class I am an instructor at Servant's Heart Ministry in Paterson, N.J. All of the other instructors liked it, so it was decided that we all should get one. Very comfortable, adjustable, plenty of pockets and very well made. I'd easily recommend you try it out.

Very functional and comfortable. Has all the pockets you need! I use it on my shop for wood working and it has by far been the most comfortable and durable work aprons I've owned

Executive summary:- Tough, well made, thoughtfully designed apron- Perfect length for woodworking- The padded, over the shoulder straps are an excellent feature- More pockets than you may ever need (yeah, so they hold wood chips. So would mesh. Not really a big deal.)- An excellent choice at a very reasonable price- Merits a 4 star or excellent rating (5 stars are hard to get to from me.)I had wanted an apron for use in my woodshop for a long time, but I just never find the right mix of quality for my engineer's brain, toughness for my clumsy mistakes, and cheapness because I'm a hobby woodworker and, for some reason, we are all so cheap that we'd rather read reviews for 10 hours to make sure a $20 apron is worthwhile. Well, let me save you some time: buy this apron. If you got this far, you already want it, so pull the trigger. You'll love it. The fabric is heavy enough to be tough, and light enough that it doesn't trap heat and make you sweat more. The length is perfect, in my opinion. Some people seem to want something that looks more like a ball gown, though I don't understand why. (Get a blacksmith's or a welders apron if you want to dance, dance, dance.) This apron can be worn with pants, shorts, and possibly chaps without worrying about it causing any problems. (Haven't tried chaps yet. Hmm....) The stitching is well done and the pockets are well thought out, but what really makes this one stand out are the straps. I love the padded, over the shoulder design. (Btw, if you find yourself unable to figure them out, you really need to get out of the woodshop until you sober up. That's just a bad idea.) Yes, the pockets will hold wood chips. It's really not a big deal. Bottom line, this is a great option at a good price and will serve you well.Cheers!

I work in a warehouse and wanted something to protect my shirts from dirt and abrasions. I also need a lot of open pockets as my old old fanny pack was not allowed by loss prevention because it zips closed. It's much more easy on the neck than standard aprons as it doesn't so much have a neck strap, but an adjustable racer back strap. The quick-release buckle makes it easy to take on and off. I've only had it for about a month so time will tell on long-term durability.

Light weight and very convenient to use. I have back issues, and hate wearing the big heavy beast tool belts!

The material definitely much lighter than the original apron I have from bucket boss. I bought this one for the shoulder straps. This apron will work, but the weave of the fabric is very loose, and I'm guessing it won't last long. But for 16 bucks why not try it out.

Perfect size for cabinetmaking tasks. One buckle design makes it quick to get on and off and the straps are so oriented that the weight hangs off the shoulders, not the neck.

Okay, let's make something really clear: I am not "Tim The Tool Man." I didn't get the Bucket Boss for building things.I really like a clean house, and I like cleaning it. But, I didn't like lugging around the two plastic boxes of rags, liquid cleaners, tooth brushes, scrubbing brushes, and...stuff. I thought, "how great would be if I could carry the things I use most often in a shop apron?"Yea, well, great idea, but most aprons are for cooking pies, or carrying screws and nails. Way too light, and stuff falls out when I bend over. They tie around the waist with a piece of string. Not good.I looked at real carpenter's work aprons; Lots of pockets, but way more rugged, and heavy, than I needed. I found the Bucket Boss: now here was the compromise I was looking for. It's light, lots and lots of pockets, fits great (I'm 6', 205 lbs), and my cleaning tools don't fall all over the place when I bend over. The shoulder pads work very well at distributing the load evenly on my shoulders. The waist strap is wide with a very handy click-together buckle.I am enthusiastic about my Bucket Boss. The quality is very good and the price is terrific. It would probably work really well for gardening.

Well I've got to say that I was really impressed with this apron; so much so that I ordered another straight away. It is made of very sturdy canvas which is not at all uncomfortable and is has 'give' in it so that it is flexible but will clearly have considerable wear in it. It is well made and all the seams and fittings are well made/constructed and has overall a very good quality feel to it. I particularly like the strap arrangement in that rather than just a single strap that goes around the neck, which I feel is uncomfortable, it has twin straps that go over the shoulders and are held in tension at the back by the strap which fits around the waist. This apron is excellent value for the money and other aprons that are made like this, like the Ergodyne 5700, are over £70. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this apron and whilst delivery is not Prime, it only takes a few days to arrive and it's worth the wait. Go and buy 1, you won't regret it!
