This is a simple cover that runs a little small, but is made of good quality materials. The price is very good and the shipping was lightning fast. If you want a trailerable snowmobile cover, you need to buy something different.

I got two of these to put on a couple of old machines. The old machines are beasts but only measured 135†from nose, up over the windshield and to the back bumper. These covers say they fit up to 145â€. Clearly they do, we got the cover on the machines, however, it took two of us almost 4 minutes to get it on. The elastic band is literally a very tight bungee cord I there and there was no way I could do it by myself, and I am not a wimp. I had to call my husband to come help me because as I would get it placed on the front and go to pull it back, the bungee was so tight that the sides slipped up and the nose would come off. We finally just had me hold the nose in place while he pulled it back and spread it wide as he pulled. It’s pretty safe to say the wind will not blow it off. There are a few ties, but I did not use them, maybe while in storage I would, but the bungee around the bottom is so tight there is really no need for it. It is lightweight so don’t think you can trailer a sled with this one, it would shred very quickly. This is simple storage, keep the dust off, keep the snow or ice off kind of a cover. The weight of it tells me it shouldn’t be stored out in the yard where it will get tons of sun either, I feel that would make it deteriorate even quicker. Overall, it will work, but you need two people to put it on.

Great cover, fits my sled nicely, however the strap underneath broke as I was trying to fasten it. I don't believe it was long enough to go underneath the sled. The elastic band on it is more than enough to keep it secure even in high winds. Would recommend this product

The cover was a quick, inexpensive fix. I was loading and unloading my trailer each time we rode so my 2005 Arctic Cat ZR900 EFI didn’t get weathered sitting outside all season. It was taking considerable time and effort to unbury the trailer and unload it, taxing myself before even setting track on trail. The cover allowed me to park my sled in our corral without worry of weathering, albeit the occasional ski frozen to the ground. My sled sat outside for two months with this cover on without incident. The cover is a few shades lighter now, but no rips or tearing anywhere and not once did it come off! The belly-pan strap and elastic kept the cover secure even under extreme winds! I would definitely by this cover again.

(Update: revoking my 2 start rating revived this item November 15th and threw it away January 8th ripped in multiple places trying to remove it from my sled.) Obviously this product looks black in the advertisement. Mine came in a light grey. Cheap material I worry as it’s exposed to sun it will get brittle and rip. No good places to tie it down for transportation. Basically a bulky fitted bed sheet. The bag that came with it.. good luck ever getting it inside. Bought the large for my 2000 skidoo summit. Not only does it cover the sled but it will actually cover my WHOLE 4x8+ trailer deck and wheel wells and hitch. Wouldn’t buy again. But it’s cheap. I’ll post a picture sometime.

Great cover for price. I ordered a size bigger than my sled. Glad I did! It fit on 1996 Polaris 500 Indy trail, with extra large windshield and passenger back rest. I don't think I will try traveling with it on sled on trailer. Comes with only one strap, but the elastic cuff is great.

Ordered two of these to cover an older skandic sled and older RMK. As many have mentioned these are not very big and I would agree under sized as compared to descriptions. Material seems not too bad and these fit as well as I expected. I would not use these for trailering. I bought a large and x-large and should have ordered both as x-large. The bottom of cover is very stretchy and keeps the cover tight enough for my purposes, which is to keep out of sun and rain. There is a strap on bottom but I was not able to find a practical way to fasten this as it seems short.Being as these are on two very different shaped sleds I am quite happy with how they fit. If they last a descent amount of time I will be happy with this purchase.
