Having purchased other Bully Tools before I knew that this one particular item would be built tough! My suspicion was spot on correct! This pitchfork because of it's design could definitely handle clay soil and more importantly a pretty heavy load of briars and ivy that I had recently cut and needed to keep at arms length as I get poison ivy pretty easily. Normally having those long handles would be a better choice, but this length of handle was ideal because I could work in tight places and not have to constantly adjust my stance in order to pickup and toss debris. Bottom line, there are no negative aspects to this tool, only positive! I would definitely recommend this tool!

This isn't you wimpy flat fork! This a beast of a fork Frankenstein would be afraid of.Yes, it is heavy but this thing should outlast me. Best fork I could get for my money. Thanks

The weight of this garden fork screams indestructible. I can see this fork lasting for years in my compost bins.

I've been using "gardening forks" for over 20 years. Clay in Colorado and Pennsylvania wears them down and they fail. The tines bend, shaft breaks or the entire head bends making them worthless. This takes between 1 and 3 seasons. This fork has shown no issues and, not counting the mud clay stuck to it, looks brand new after 1 season where we dug up our 1600 soft garden

I’m 5’8” hurt my back because too short. Strong and sturdy. Too heavy.

I'm used to seeing the business end of a pitchfork forged out of a single piece of steel instead of welded from components like this pitchfork is but the proof is in the pudding - this guy is built like a tank and works great turning over the heavy, clayey soil I have to deal with. The angle iron they used to weld the tines to makes a much more comfortable surface to push on with your foot than your typical single-piece fork. This pitchfork is not just good for the money, it's just good, period.

Made in the USA. I purchased it for lawn aeration, turning heavy mulch piles and lifting plants. It works great. Very heavy duty and flat top of fork makes sure your foot does not slip when aerating. It's a heavy fork. The fork is joined to the handle with an alloy rivet. The fiberglass handle could be thicker. Much better quality than the Tabor fork and your foot won't slip off. Will buy more tools from Bully Tool. When you get tired of the poor quality garden tools lowes and home depot sell, this is a good made in the USA alternative. Buy it I don't think you will regret it unless you don't know how to use tools or are prone to abuse them like standing on the handle on top of a rock to lever up.

Who gets this excited over a yard tool? I do! It’s gonna last for a decade I’m sure! I love to be barefoot outside puttering around the garden area.. and searched for a garden fork that has a wide surface where you use your foot to push it into the ground to easily dig weeds or dead plants up and it’s great for turning compost obviously. I like the shorter handle style with the D shaped end to hold on to. Sturdy and very well made.

A little heavier than I would like. Also, a bit small. I am used to something a bit lighter with more width to the prongs for turning soil. This will do, but is going to be less efficient. Also, super late delivery.
