TROUBLESHOOTING:
There are two batteries required to make this clock work and the balls turn. They are installed in two different locations. The battery to run the clock is installed in the upper rear of the product, the other battery required to turn the balls needs to be installed at the bottom of the product.Jackie

I bought this clock as a gift for my brother's 50th wedding anniversary. I remember seeing a clock like this in my grandparent's living room and always thought it was a very elegant clock. My brother and sister-in-law really enjoyed receiving this clock.

The clock and the rotating pendulum have different motors which is a good idea. The motor for the rotating pendulum is in the base. The clock has been very accurate for me. The rotating pendulum is a little noisy but the low noise does not really bother me. I cannot hear it over the volume of the TV once I turn the TV on. Since the rotating pendulum has a separate motor, it can be stopped on its own without affecting the clock. This means the slight noise can be stopped, but at the cost of stopping the rotating pendulum. The base and the face of the clock are made of metal. The legs and the casing for the clock are made of plastic.
