I bought this to replace an older model of the same clock that unfortunately got knocked off the side of my house. It was still working but cosmetically pretty banged up. I was happy to find the updated model here on Amazon. This is really a beautiful clock. The design is stylish and it functions wonderfully. The automatic night light LED feature is perfect. It provides just the right amount of backlight at night to see the time/temp/humidity without being too bright or distracting. It has separate battery compartments for the clock and light so you can use just the clock or the clock and light. I'm very. happy with this item and it looks great
