These cords seem to be good quality and work for my needs (securing a car cover from beneath), but, like others have noted, the elastic is pretty stiff and they don't stretch very much compared to common bungees. If you can use a bungee with fairly powerful elastic and not a lot of stretch, these should work for you.

I needed some short bungee cords for my garbage for critters that we're getting in there so decided to grab these off Amazon they were very durable good quality, meaning the coating on the hooks what substantial not cheap and the tension on the cord with firm.

The quality is good… nice heavy duty cord. I returned these bungee cords because they did not stretch very far. I needed it to go around a tree and the ends did not meet. Just be aware.
