Your cart is empty.Bussmann Maxi (MAX) fuses are used to protect circuits in the wiring harness that are usually found under the hood, in a fuse panel or supplementary panel near the battery. MAX fuses are used in domestic and import vehicles. OEM applications currently range up to 60 amperes, however, some aftermarket accessories such as high end stereos require protection up to 80 amperes.

Replaces one that I sacrificed the blade to rig a battery terminal connection. The batteryterminal would no longer tighten down on my daughter's boyfriends' car and they kept calling for a jump when it would not start. I needed a good conductor for a shim, and the fuse blade I cut off with wire cutters did the job. No more calls for a jump-start!

While chasing electrical gremlins in my race car, I cut out the original fusible link and replaced it with this fuse.What can I say other than it works as it should? I haven't been exposed to these larger format fuses before, but it lives up to its "Maxi Blade" name.And, it's red, for anyone who cares about such things.
