Medium-Duty Type TL fuse for residential motor circuits in kitchens, workshops, garages, utility rooms or any circuit with motors, relays or solenoids. This fuse threads into fuse receptacle. Threaded fuse type: Edison Base (brass threads). Not interchangeable with Rejection Base (porcelain threads) type. Medium-duty (TL) category plug fuse. The medium-duty fuse (TL) has a time-delay feature for use on motor circuits. Plug fuses are rated for a maximum of 125Vac. TL three pack (PK3) version (blister pack). Plug fuses are often used in residential and industrial branch circuit and motor protection. Fuses are used to protect furnace blower motors, pumps, power tools, garage door openers, etc. Motor protection fuses are usually used in conjunction with branch circuit protection. The fuse is often located in a box cover unit. Plug fuses provide a compact and inexpensive method to prevent damage to electrical motors. They help reduce downtime and lower maintenance costs by opening the circuit when a dangerous overload is present. When used for residential branch circuit protection, fuses are typically located in the main fuse panel.

I still have this type of fuse on my well pump disconnect box. Every time I have to replace it I say I'm going to replace the box with a proper disconnect/breaker box but of course I never do.These are getting hard to find so now I make sure I have spares on hand. Got my pump back online quickly.

Ensure you have the correct Amp fuses. They are color coded. Easy to change. Bring a flashlight, fuse boxes are always in a dark corner. Or you have no power because you blew a fuse. Easy screw out the old one, screw in the new one, don't be cheap or lazy, throw out the blown fuse. Don't leave them on the shelf next to the fuse box the way grandpa did. Also ask yourself why in 2024 do you live in a house with fuses when someone should have already renovated the electrical system? Or why when your house was build in the 60's did someone put a fuse box in when breaker systems existed already. Best of luck

Fuses like this are a must around my home and unfortunately they are getting a little more difficult to find. These were picked up not because of an immediate need, but to be ready when needed. Came well packaged and protected.
