I have an older (1700;s) home and while most of the house has been updated with modern breaker panels and wiring, I still have a couple of separate plug fuse boxes for 1960's era systems. It's a comfort to know that the fuses will work properly for occasional circuit overloads and "pop" when they are supposed to, to prevent overheating of wiring and potential fires. Bussmann fuses are high quality, and having the right amperage fuses on hand, especially during winter months is a must. Highly recommended.
