Grow TipsPlant in well-drained soil. Protect from drying winds. Roots require cool, moist conditions. Responds well to shape pruning at any time of the year. Hard pruning should be done in mid-winter.

I've always had good luck with ordering plants through Amazon for home delivery. (Other places too.) It's not as scary as it sounds. Plants are well packaged and arrive very nicely.These two bushes were perfect specimens, moist soil, good root system, and were getting bright green new leaves following their arrival, which is fairly late for boxwood's to add more leaves. Very healthy. I couldn't ask for more, with the size and fullness of them.I know boxwood seems overdone for some, but I lost about 11 mature ones out front a few years ago, as did my neighbor, to likely boxwood blight. These are going in the back to join some others, so I have some year round green somewhere! :-) I'm delighted with Green Promise Farms.

Well/packaged plants are healthy-looking. Had substantial bright recent growth. My wife asked if I had gotten fake plants, that’s how good they looked.Healthy roots too. Will update if issues arise within the first year

We were trying to plant some bushes in front of the house but couldn't find the right variety/size that we wanted. Ordered 7 'Winter Gem' boxwood. They arrived earlier than expected (in two days). They were all packed very well. The plants look healthy and were with good sizes. Price is much cheaper than local garden center. Glad we bought these online. Will come back if more are needed.

Purchased to plant my winter containers. Plant looked good and healthy. I assumed boxwood had only one trunk... When I planted I discovered four trunks for four smaller plants to give the appearance of a larger boxwood. The worst business practice..Thankful, I only order one to see if quality was good. I am glad I did, before ordering more for all my containers! BEWARE!!!

The plant itself was in pretty good shape when it arrived. It did have a small bit of damage but that wasn’t much of a concern. I was more disappointed in the shape was expecting it to have a cone shape but it did not.

Boxwoods are healthy and thick. As others have mentioned, they are under sized for a 3 gallon shrub, otherwise 5 stars.
