When I bought my truck, It had the B&W hitch in it, but it did not have the safety chains! I was very upset that I was missing some parts, and I went on Amazon and sure enough they have these. I drilled the holes like they provided in the box, and it fit like a ball and glove. Have 0 problems with them, and actually right now they are being used, and they work flawless, just like they came with the hitch. Only thing, I did do something little different though, I went ahead and put a washer on the bottom part so the spring don't get stressed out after time, but that is not required.

I had to pull the bed on my 2004 F-250 with a B&W goose-neck hitch. I cut the old ones out and dropped these in after I completed the work. Super easy install and from factory functioning.

They work good and look good. The installation was a little annoying, but a little persuasion got them to go where they were supposed to go. The springs are already getting some corrosion after 2 months, but it is not a concerning amount for something spending time under a truck.1 Year Update: The shackles and nuts are still holding up well (their coating still look new). The springs are properly covered in corrosion, but it is just on the surface and they still work good.

The kit was exactly as described. It worked perfectly. Only negative and not a real big deal is that the springs were all intertwined together. It took a moment to get them apart.
