Its just the height that is the problem.

Center jack point for my Subaru is too far back to get with even a "low profile long reach" jack (Daytona,) so these are perfect. Easy to tell when you are fully on. Very sturdy. Just enough lift to get my jack all the way under.

I can almost slip under my PT Cruiser for oil changes and just need a little more height to be able to do that comfortably. The regular ramps I've been using are a pain to drive up and down from and actually lift the car higher than I'd like for oil changes. These ramps are just about right, easier to drive up and down and the height is better suited for me to reach the oil plug and filter for doing my oil changes. They appear to be sturdy, but I always use jack stands once the car is lifted, which makes the job much easier to accomplish.

Low profile, solid, easy to store and perfect to get another block under my QuickJack lift.

2.5" of lift. What a joke. Can get to drain plug, not even close to oil filter.

these are low profile ramps, for cars with smaller ground clearance.without these ramps, i cannot get a jack under my car. that's what these ramps are for - a little ground clearance so you can put a real jack on your frame support or wherever your factory jack point is. for this, they are perfect.that means you do not use these to do an oil change - i noticed another reviewer said these were trash b/c they didn't get him enough clearance to do an oil change. that's like complaining that you couldn't take your tire off with a screw driver. that person used the wrong tool for the wrong job.these are perfect for what they are designed for.

This ramp set is well-made and constructed from strong, durable material. It effectively addresses the issue of low-profile cars, and it doesn't slip on the floor. Additionally, it's easy to move and store. Overall, it performs well, and I'm satisfied with it.

I personally have never seen low profile blocks available at my local auto stores. I always had to use 2x4's or sheets of plywood in the past for my Ford Cobra that is low from the factory. After seeing the economical price of these, it seemed like a smart and safer decision. I could not be happier. They are wide enough for any common tire, and are easy to mount and dismount. Just ensure the surface where they are placed is slip free and has some texture. They are also very easy and small to store on a shelf in the garage. If you have a low car and need to do basic maintenance, these will work for you.
