I just replaced the original spring strut lifts after 27 years of use on my truck shells rear window and these PAMAGOO C16-10176 14 inch Gas Shock(Qty 2) 35 lbs/156 N Per Prop both fit and work perfect. I likely will not know if they will last 27 years like the originals, but I am very pleased with my purchase so far.

Same size as the original ones that wore out on my LEER 100XR. The piston rod diameter is important for me because I have a light switch that mounts around the rod, this switch turns on a light when the rear window strut is extended.

I bought these and a brackets set to support a heavy carpenter’s chest lid. Only one of these was needed and both would have been too much. It’s working out well so far.

These 15 lb gas springs measured closer to 20-25 lbs which is quite a bit more than advertised. Not a big deal for me since I’m using them as helper springs on my camper top. But for people that are more weight critical, you might just keep my findings in mind.
