They have an O ring that others don’t which is nice for that little bit of extra water protection but the ones without it have done me well for years, however these are definitely a step in quality and seal better with flat wire.

Nice little cable grips. I use them on control boxes that I make, for sensor wires to come in and out of. Makes it look much cleaner than just a hole drilled in the box, or a romex clamp. I use these in several different sizes... this size is good for the smaller wires

Being smaller in diameter than the half inch ones that came with the junction box makes them barely able to hold onto the box. Will have to buy another smaller size drill to fit the way they should when using the remainder glands.

How difficult is it to get the color right? I needed white for a job where the appearance was important but the cable glands I got are light grey. Don't put white in the product description when it's actually grey. I had to order from a different vendor to get a product that is actually white. A waste of time and money and the latches on the storage container it came with don't keep the container shut so you have to tape it or use a rubber band etc. otherwise have the contents empty out all over the place. The storage container is decent and useful to keep if it worked but instead it adds to all the plastic already in landfills.
