I pull a lot of aircraft cable on the farm and this works for that purpose. Had a few problems getting it to grip initially but once it does, has never let go. I'm not pulling to high tensions (over a ton)

The part that swivels back to open so that the teeth may crab a hold does not work well so you are always trying make it stay open.It works but not the best one out there!

Works well for pulling bottom tension wire on chain link fence. Easy to use and release. Good value for the money.
