Attach it to a standard network cable and it becomes a crossover. Works everytime as a crossover and has no issue. One small issue is that after about the 12th connection, it became a permanent attachment. I now can no longer remove it from the 7 foot cable it is attached to even with pliers and a large amount of force. Retention clip releases, but the RJ-45 is seemingly glued in now.

These are a great idea...I needed a 50 ft crossover cable...hard to find. This crossover connector worked GREAT!

Would normally use two ethernet cables and an ethernet crossover connector. This deice works great when I only have a single ethernet cable.

Bought this to enable a direct connection between my Mac and a NAS instead of going via a switch. Doing so cut the response times almost by half. Having a crossover adapter means I have a choice of existing cables to use depending on where I move my Mac/NAS, so it's more flexible solution than buying a crossover cable. Plus there are two adapters in the pack, and being bright red means I am much less likely to mislay them.

FacilÃsimo para conectar dos equipos iguales entre si, ya no te debes preocupar con que norma estn grinpados los cables de red, conectas en cada extremo y a funcionar. Excelente.
