It's the length advertised, made of acceptable materials and of acceptable quality for the price.I wouldn't recommend using it with any newer monitors as both HDMI and Displayport are going to give you better, more responsive quality: however for an older monitor, or one that you don't require high-speed refresh or fidelity: this seems to get the job done.Note: The cord is of typical cord quality so a cat will probably be able to bite through it, given a few minutes. This is a typical concern of mine - but this is not a cord that will stand up to cats for a long time like some of the braided cords available.

I recently had my 30 inch Apple Cinema display go kaput after about ten years, and had to replace it with a 30 inch HP display that didn't come with the requisite DVI-D dual link cable.Being an IT pro, I have boxes and boxes of cables, many of them DVI-D but none of them were Dual-Link capable, and the Apple Cinema display had a cable built in, so it wasn't transferrable to the new monitor.This cable did the trick, even though I hated to buy it because I thought I could salvage another DVI-D cable, but it wasn't expensive and is a solid, obviously well-built quality cable.Pros:• Works great for 30 inch display with DVI-D Dual Link requirements• Inexpensive and solidly builtCons:None

I read and watched various things about this hook-up, and possibly blowing an internal fuse, but it seemed pretty straight. A small monitor I hadn't used in years was in the closet and after looking at it, I saw that it had the same female DVI connector as my Yaesu FT-710 did, and because there wasn't a need for an adapter this particular cable caught my eye. It works fine, and it's a LOT easy to view the radio screen when it's on a larger monitor. I recommend it.

Not a bad video wire if I say so myself. It was plenty long enough for what my application was. Pretty thick cable seems durable enough and has lasted me a while now. The picture quality is exactly as advertised. If it was a bit longer I would give it 5 stars

I purchased a graphics card as part of a gift to be able to play Doom on PC through Steam. It turns out a new wire was needed to connect it since the monitor had no HDMI port and the graphics card had no VGA port. This wire solved the issue because there was a DVI port on both the monitor and graphics card.Just be sure to double-check which type of DVI you need on your device. There are two types of DVI that look almost identical but will not fit if mismatched.This cable is DVI-D (as mentioned in the description) and will not fit if you need DVI-I.

This is definitely a great value as you are very likely to pay a LOT more for something like this in a typical store. It does the job and is well made. My only gripes relate to picture quality, the cable I had prior was a VGA with DVI adapter on my graphics card which provided an 'analog' connection. After using this cable, the monitor and graphics card connection changed to digital (which is great as I hadn't taken that into account.)I have progressive lens eyeglasses and am having a hard time adjusting to the difference in the screen picture when looking at the monitor. I made adjustments through the monitor to make it more comfortable by using pre-calibration due to the change in connection and am continuing to find ways to ease the transition.I'm rating the cable 5-stars because while its been difficult to adjust to, it would seem to me to be a better picture and is likely a better setting match since I am not having the 'adjustment change' difficulty when trying to focus back on other areas of my room (ie looking away from monitor) To better explain what I mean, think of it like this, you buy a new chair and have to go from sitting posture that was unhealthy to a proper posture in the new chair. You aren't used to it and it takes adjustment, but you can tell its better for you. Now its just a matter to ensure that you set the adjustment to accommodate your particular position.

El cable es bastante grueso por lo que se ve que va a resistir bastante. Lo uso con un proyector y hasta ahora funciona muy bien. Luego voy a probarlo con algo de contenido en 4K.
