The lamp met my expectations for the price I paid, but the images concerning the angles that can be turned are deceiving. Also, the connection of the charging cord connecting to the lamp is not stable.

This has worked out fabulously on our music stand. I hate overhead lighting, so it has been wonderful to be able to practice guitar with this light. The clip holds well on the stand with no slipping. The various color tones (from warm to bright) expand the usability to different times of day. For example, the room we use it in has windows that allow for ample sunlight so the bright LED would be too bright in the day, but the warm light provides just that extra bit of focus. At night, the brighter light is perfect. So far (after a couple of months of on-and-off use) the battery is still going strong. I am grateful that it is battery-powered and doesn't require yet another cord in the room. It was especially nice one evening when my daughter was practicing, and the power went out and she was able to keep using it!

Good news: it works as advertised, plug it in and you get nice bright light, with a long flexible gooseneck to adjust the position of the lamp. The gooseneck is much more flexible than the old brackets on 20th century music lights.The less good news:* there are no instructions whatsoever. You have to figure out on your own where to tap it to turn it on and off (it's touch sensitive, VERY touch sensitive; it'll turn on three times as you try to slide it into the box if you use batteries.)* it can be powered by USB, but it doesn't have an onboard battery. You either power it from AA batteries, or you plug it in. (And avoiding having cords running all over is a big deal, in a dark orchestra pit. They are tripping hazards.)* it's VERY hard to fit in the box it came in. You'll be twisting the gooseneck way more than you really want to, to put it away.If someone gave me this, I'd consider it perfectly adequate. If I were shopping for myself, I'd opt for a competing model at a similar price point that was even better.

I perform in a Concert Band. On rare occasions we are in a dimly lit venue, thus I decided to obtain a music stand lamp. This particular product was around $16 and there were other offerings for lesser amounts. For just a few bucks more I decided to just go with the one which appeared to be the best. It works as promised, but the following are issues that concerned me.1. The Amazon outer box was sealed but the Cahaya box inside was not.2. The plastic pouch containing the product in the Cahaya also was not sealed.3. There were no written instructions - did I receive a returned product?4. The product is well made but perhaps overly well made. The spring clamp for holding it to the music stand is massive.5. There are three levels of brightness. Nice, but who needs three levels?Bottom line - it is a well made product but a bit bulky and perhaps overly engineered. Cheaper products may work just as well.

I have used this light on several symphony concerts over the last few weeks. The battery life lasts over an entire rehearsal/concert and the adjustable brightness works cautiously but seamlessly. I say cautiously because to adjust the brightness you are likely going to tap it out of position if you are not careful. Not a big deal. The foldable feature makes it easy to store in my admittedly large trap case. Many other musicians positively commented on its features. Only drawback might be for some that it operates only on 3 AAA batteries or via a USB noting that a USB cord is included but not the charging block. It is not rechargeable so you might need to bring spare batteries just in case. It is not clear how many musicians have power at the ready in their concert setting (or have long extension cords) so the plgged in USB option may not be viable for everyone. The device used to clamp it to your stand is very robust and is sturdy enough to be used outdoors but you will need a fairly substantial stand to which to secure the clamp. Once you have it setup you will find it remains reliably in place and the light was spread evenly over the pages. I find it to be quite nice for those rehearsal settings/concerts where having a reliable light is key and it is worth the asking price.
