This kit that included the scoop worked great and saved me a lot of time making dessert. I do recommend placing it in the freezer for a few minutes prior to using to help prevent the mix from sticking.

It is not exactly user-friendly, but that might be due to the size of the cake balls it makes. It doesn't do a great job compacting it enough to stay in ball-form to prep for dipping the cake pop. It's not completely unwieldy.

I use to make cake pops. 50% of the time the cake just sticks inside the cups and I have to scoop it out with my finger. Not to helpful but I use it for size reference.b

Accessories are more impress and useful than balling tool. It is wiggly and not sturdy enough to make consistent balls, they had to be reshaped by hand after being scooped with this tool.
