I'm a fabricator and the construction master pro calcs have been staples in the toolboxes of the guys in the shop for years so when I learned that they made this I had to try one. This does all the things that the smaller calculators do and give even easier access to trig functions so it's a win win for functionality. I like the book that is included, it's a little clearer than the little booklet that comes with the other calculators in their line, it is more expansive and clearer which makes getting the most out of the calc easier for those functions you don't use all the time. It's big! I actually wish it was about a third smaller than it is for use on the shop floor but if you actually use it on a desk like it's supposed to be or have eyes with some years on them then it will probably be right up your alley.

I would like to buy it for gifting others.4* – I like it, but there are some issues with the item. Might be I need to understand the product/item, some functions might not be functioning as described.3* - It is okay product/item, more than one issue, quality issues, need more time to understand/test the product, Item I got might have it is own issues.2* – Not a recommendable product/item to buy, Look for better product/item in the market1* – Product/item has many issues, quality is a big issue, There might be many other products in the market better than this. We had a pocket Construction Master Pro prior to this and also used the app for the iPhone, but we wanted a desktop version for my husband who has much larger fingers. He was getting frustrated with the iPhone app as it constantly read the wrong tap on the screen. This has saved his iPhone from being tossed to the ground on more than one occasion!

Love it. Works just like the app version, but the larger physical keys make me less error prone when entering numbers. The ability to enter measurements in any format and easily convert is priceless.

Way bigger than I thought it would be. But I do hear that a lot. Would be way better if it was solar powered but it shuts off automatically so assuming the battery will last a while. Great product especially if you know how to use it.

I love the functions on this calculator. It does absolutely everything I need and a LOT more. What is lacking, for me, first and foremost, is button accuracy. Sitting flat on my drawing table, with nothing to absorb my presses, I get missed key presses far too often. I am used to blind entry on a 10 key numeric keypad, and my old Construction Master made it 25 years before it was time to let it go. I have had this one less than a year, and it is not wearing out. It has been that way since out of the box. So I lose time watching every key press, every single time. That extends bid time out a good bit when adding up a large project. And I am still not 100% comfortable with my numbers a lot of the time. A lot of double and triple checking myself to make sure what my fingers felt is what went into the equation.Second thing, for me, is even with the adjustable angle readout, I get a glare most times and have to move it around to get just the right lack of reflection on the readout. Seems to me a slightly matte finish that doesn't bounce light so hard might be better, but I am not about to scuff up the screen.As for the function and accuracy, as long as the keys record my input correctly, you can beat this one! As far as that, I trust it

I have A Smaller version of the same Calculator. but like I said it's smaller harder for me to see as I'm getting older .this Calculator is Wonderful I can see it. It's easy to use, it does fractions. I'm in the construction industry in Metal fabrication. I use it all the time. love The Calculator.

The larger size of it makes it nice for desktop use. One thing I wish it that it had the same key layout as the Construction Master 5 that I've used for years on the jobsite. It would be really nice if there was dedicated keys for the cm and mm. Because the Canadian Code is all in metric I use it a lot for converting mm and m to feet and inches. Otherwise it's a good addition to any office that is involved in building construction.

This calculator was delivered only last month and now it is no longer working. The display freezes. The only number that appears is 0 or 8. I tried to reset it but probably even the reset button is working. I am an estimator and I use this product every day 8 hours a day. I had another which is called Construction Master 5 and I had been CM5 since 2008 until it broke down last March.This product is a waste of money. The last day to return this product was last May 2. I think the product would lasts only a few days after the last day of product return.
