We bought this book for our grandkids and they love it. It is a really great idea.After a couple months, the book stopped working, even after my daughter added a new battery. I got the book back from her today and tried a different battery and it worked. Hers was a cheap off-brand battery and mine was a Sony. Hers is measuring 2.9v but it still fails and the Sony is working fine. We'll see how it plays out but I am suspecting that good batteries will make a difference. I'm wondering if some of the people who left bad reviews had off-brand batteries and if a name brand battery would make a difference.I feel bad because I contacted Cali's and they sent out another book quick. So, awesome customer service.Update 2/16/2024: I heard back from Cali's customer service and they confirmed that the problem is often the battery. So, even though you may be using new batteries, they might not work properly if they are inferior. I would suggest name brand batteries or get them from Cali's books.

Easy to use for baby, adorable music, catching phrases, baby's favorite is La vaca Lola! And itsy spider. The volume is very low and sometimes difficult to hear so my baby place the book in her ears. That's why the 4 stars.

The sound is good, not annoying like many of this type of thing; however the songs are very short and do not repeat without pressing the button again. I like that it is rechargeable. Be aware that there is an on/off switch! I didn't see that and wondered why it wouldn't play after charging. To reiterate the listing, there are only 6 songs in Spanish. They were songs I was looking for. Overall I don't think it was worth it. I'd rather pay more and have the songs repeat two or three times, as children need the repetition to learn something new. I would have liked ten songs.

My daughter immediately loved this book. She can spend a lot of time listening and replaying the songs over and over. She learned some of the songs and now sing along. I want to buy more of these.
