I love this stuff. I've been using it on my baby since she was only a few weeks old due to cradle cap. This stuff is awesome. It doesn't have a strong tea tree odor that I've come to expect from products with tea tree oil in them. It has a mild and pleasant scent. It doesn't dry out the hair. It's really for all ages. My older kids have used it and so have I. They also make a conditioner that I've yet to see sold here on Amazon. If I'm being honest, I usually order this from California Baby's website directly, but I will get it from here when I need it fast because I'm a Prime member.

My pediatrician suggested this to us for my son when he had pretty extreme cradle cap. I was pleasantly surprised with how much it improved for him when I started using this. It didn’t go fully away but compared to the other things I tried it did a way better job. I love the scent of it and it’s very gentle for sensitive skin but is also very effective for cleaning. It’s definitely expensive but it lasts a very long time and ends up being a great deal. I’ve used it on all three of my kids now and I suggest it to everyone with babies, especially if they have sensitive skin/eczema/cradle cap.

If I could give this 6 stars I would. I bought this because my 4 month old baby boy had some residual cradle cap and after taking him to his 4 month check up I aksed his dr what to do and she said I could do nothing - because it really was mild only on his eyebrows - or use some head and shoulders shampoo. I said ok and took to doing some research because I was not going to use head and shoulders on my baby. I stumbled upon this shampoo and although the price is a little high I bought it. I tried it on my eyes first - because I am that mom that tries everything first on herself - and it us tear free. So then I washed my son's eyebrows with it during bathtie and after the first use his cradle cap was gone. Added bonus - it smells soooo nice!

This Shampoo has worked miracles on my 6 wk old. She has craldle cap, that appears in her hair, on her face, neck, and ears. It looked absolutely horrible. We took her to see the pediatrician on 2 separate occasions as the rash progressed and she just kept stating that it would go away on its own. She told us to try using an organic oil and brushing it away. We treid this with varied results, and the rash persisted. I read about this product on one of my baby boards and decided to look it up on amazon. Based on the reviews, I decided to try it and I was not disappointed!!!!!! Immediately after bathing her, the redness on her face lessened. Its been 2 days and since then her rash has gone away completely and the flaky scales are coming off. Great Product!

I like it. It's a little hard to get a good lather but that happens. The bottle is a little small for the price and I have to use extra to get it to lather. My hair is a little curlier than ever. My tangles arent as bad and my hair is shinier. Need to still use a conditioner.

Update Sept 2014Well, I've been using this for over a year now and I've come to really like it. Moving rating from 3 stars to 5.I'm not sure why I had a problem with my eyes burning when I first use this. I now use this straight with just a little water on my fingertips to clean my eyelids without a problem (no more foamer). My blepharitis has improved so much that I only use a hot moist compress once a day for 2-3 minutes (instead of 2-3 times/day for 5+ minutes). Sometimes I even skip a day. I still wash my eyes 2-3 times a day and give them a little gentle massage.I also find this body wash makes my deodorant last longer and is good for cleaning greasy fingers.Original Review: I have to say I'm surprised that more people don't complain about this Tea Tree and Lavender Shampoo burning their babies' eyes. I bought it as an alternative to Johnson's Baby Shampoo and lid scrubs like Ocusoft and the first time I used it (diluted), it really burned my eyes and made them red; the second time (more diluted), it still burned. Finally I put the diluted shampoo in an old Ocusoft foamer and I was able to use a tiny amount without it burning. Now that I have the method down, this TT&L shampoo is my preferred lid cleanser. It seems to rinse out better than the Johnson's but doesn't dry my eyes as much as the Ocusoft. My eyes feel more lubricated and my lids go longer without getting puffy. So I recommended it for blepharitis, but be careful!

We use this on our 6 week old and love it. It's great for newborns as well as older babies. There are people mentioning Cetaphil in other reviews but it isn't really all that great. There are all kinds of harsh chemicals in it. The worst being Propylparaben, Butylparaben, Methylparaben (fragrances/preservatives) which score very high in terms of toxicity. They rate a 10 on a scale of 1-10 according the to EWG. California Baby Tea Tree and Lavender has no ingredient over a 1 on their scale. The smell is wonderful and my baby loves it. We have no sign of cradle cap or other skin conditions and would recommend this product to anyone.
