I have been using this every day for about two months since I got it to cook turkey bacon and one egg with cheese and it works great! Nothing sticks to it, even the melted cheese. I have also used it to fry other things with no problem. I like that it heats evenly and I never burn food with it. I only wash it by hand with a sponge and mild dish soap- I have never put it in the dishwasher, and it is very easy to clean. I bought the Calphalon nylon utensils to use with it and I have had no scratches or damage to the non stick surface. With proper care this seems to work very well.

This is a replacement for a small fry pan we bought some time ago. This one is better and is great.

Non stick, oven safe. It was recommended not to use non stick sprays. Guess that stuffs not good for you anyway

Originally purchased a complete set, but our 8-inch pan lost its non-stick properties after about 8 years almost daily use; had always used wooden or teflon utensils while cooking and never put in dishwasher, instead hand-washed and dried. These pans have a lifetime warranty and are supposedly dishwasher-safe. Calphalon customer support told me that one should avoid using aerosol cooking oil sprays with these pans because the propellants heat up and tend to stick, ultimately coating the pan and preventing non-stick properties. Not sure I entirely buy this, but still, the manufacturer honored their warranty, however I had to ship to them at my cost (about $6) and it took several weeks to receive replacement. While awaiting the processing of our warranty claim with manufacturer, I went ahead and ordered another 8-inch pan from Amazon; so now we have 2 of these pans. We'll be using a little virgin olive oil going forward, but even if we only get another 8 years, that still seems pretty good. The extra thickness of these pans really gives one a nice even heat when cooking.

I own multiple Caphalon pans and use them almost on a daily basis. This pan replaces a 8 in fry pan that lost it's non-stick capability over the years.The handle, as described on Amazon is: The long, brushed stainless steel handles are designed to stay cool on the stove top.I can tell you right now the handle is not long and as far as designed to stay cool, only time will tell. I rated this pan 3 stars for Lightweight and I don't want it to be. I expected it to have some heft and it does so no complaints there

This Calphalon pan replaces a previous Calphalon pan that was used virtually every day for 16 years. After those 16 years the replaced pan showed no signs of wear but for some reason it lost its no-stick properties after frying up some deer sausage recently. Judging from information on the web 16 years is a long life for a teflon pan.This one will be used exclusively for eggs, which I scramble in olive oil. I use a Calphalon plastic spatula, the same one used for 16 years with the previous Calphalon pan.While this is not strictly speaking an omelet pan it has a nicely radiused transition from the bottom to the sides so it works as an omelet pan very nicely. It also has a ridge at the top of the sides to hold an optional top, which I did not purchase.

I have owned Calaphalon for over 20 years now and I am happy to say they are still built with quality in mind. This pan heats evenly and the non-stock works so well without the harmful chemicals previously used to create the non-stick surface. After 30 or more uses it still cleans up quickly and easily with a minimum of effort. It is also healthy cookware in that you don't need oil to cook. I have tried other ceramic coated pans and they quickly began to lose their non-stick properties (and are cost only slightly less). Good cookware is an investment and Calphalon is always a good investment.

I have been using Calphalon for years and have always been pleased with its fine non-stick surface. The company has always been responsive when, after years of continuous use, a few of the pans have lost their coating. Their life-time warranty is actually honored.This newest acquisition is a convenient size for a single person meal and the non-stick coating makes use and clean up very easy.

Estoy muy molesto, no es el producto que ordene, el mango tiene un protector de plástico y por ello no puede usarse en el horno, el producto ofertado es más profundo y completamente redondo (sin dobleces para el vaciado del aceite). El sarten es mucho más ligero que un sarten de la misma marca y tamaño que tengo y que por su antigüedad ya lo querÃa cambiar, me quedaré con mi sarten antiguo en tanto compre otro en una tienda fÃsica para asegurarme que la calidad corresponda a la marca. No lo regresaré para no perder mi tiempo y seguramente lo desecharé pronto por su mala calidad. NO COMPREN ESTE PRODUCTO ES UN FRAUDE.

This is the best frying pan I have ever had. The handle doesn't get hot at all like some others; it is easy to clean; it cooks evenly, plus you can put it in the oven up to 450 degrees. I highly recommend it. I am going to purchase the 10" and 12" frying pans as well.
