This is a great product to keep critters out of the water heater area. The reason I only like it is, because I worry about it falling off or someone walking away with it. It's held on only by 2 small springs. I added wire ties to mine to make sure it stays secure. I had to also buy a 2nd one for my door to cover a 2nd opening. I bought the Camco 42146 screen to go with it. This was used for a Suburban 10 Gallon water heater on a fifth wheel.

Works as expected. The springs are a little tricky to install but with some persistence it can be done. A must have to keep bugs from building nests inside your heater.

The rig's originally installed Dometic screen is only pressed into position and held by three "nubs" which "click" into three recessed spots on the screen's frame. You can remove the original screen with one finger. Notwithstanding the "not so easy" way to install the Camco screen, the sheer act of finally attaching the two springs (about 15-20 tries) causes the original screen to "pop out" and off the rig, falling on the ground (i.e. you would lose both the original screen and the Camco screen). This also makes the installation almost impossible since as you try to push the Camco spring's into place, it causes the original screen to pull out - and again fall out of it's installed position. I even tried to attach the new screen to the new one by removing the original - but it would not go back into place without being ready to fall out. Would have given one star but gave two since as I read other comments - I guess i will be able to figure out some kind of DIY.... UPDATE - turned out rig's original screen was installed backwards. Once inserted properly, the installation went "better" but still took awhile. The original screen still wanted to deform enough to "pop out" of the frame. Once I finally got the spring inserted the right way, I used twist wraps on the two top corners and secured both screens to the frame. Gave it a third star since i finally got it to work ...

It is as advertised, a little tricky to get on, but once on I think it will work well, I like the silicone it has around it so it does not scratch our New RV

Screen on our RV furnace outlet. As all of the other brands etc. in this lineup the springs are quite useless. If you use the spring attachments eventually lose the screen. I attached ours to the side of the trailer with mirror clips (angles) that fit perfectly after I cut the side just enough to allow the clip to fit through and screwed them onto the side of the trailer with the small crews included with the clips, guaranteed not to come off. As for any damage to the trailer from the screws there is none as the are covered by the clip. There ,problem solved> This screen is one of the best I came across and would buy again.

Works great, just what I needed to cover my trailer's Domectic water heater side inlet/outlet.
