Your cart is empty.This is an 18 inches extension pipe for the Gen-turi generator exhaust system. It is recommended that the exhaust pipe extend a minimum of 6 inches above the roof line. While the Gen-turi system comes complete with 10 feet of pipe you may need a little extra if you have a taller RV, and this extension will allow you to reach the recommended height. It comes with a coupler as well allowing you to connect the pipes together easily. The extension is easy to install and allows the Gen-turi to vent nasty exhaust fumes away from the ground and above the RV's roof line.

I purchased this kit plus the 18†extension and suctuon cups. The kit barely extended above my RV roofline, so the extension added a significant amount. We attended a music festival where campers erected tents right next to the exhaust. I put a carbon monoxide detector right next to the exhaust and between the tent. In the 5 days we were there it never even chirped once. And considering that several other people died in another location from exhaust from another generator, this accessory can actually save a life.Of note, other reviews said that the extension piece does not fit in the bag. But for me it fit just fine along with the suctuon cups. Also if note I needed to cut a small length off the generator exhaust pipe in order to prevent it from sticking out to far and hitting construction cones on the highway.I did consider going cheap and getting PVC pipe from Lowe’s, but after pricing all the pieces, I would have only saved $25-50. Not enough to me to justify all the extra labor, the fact it would look rigged, and perhaps not working as efficiently and potentially causing us or neighbors CO poisoning

I put it on my 2005 Holiday Rambler Imperial to get the aqua hot diesel smell above the roof. It worked great. One of the plastic suction cups broke during a windy evening but the tape on steel holders worked just fine.

Adding this extension increases the exhaust point high enough above tall RV to allow wind to blow it completely away from RV.

The Gen-turi exhaust system should be required of all RV owners who stay in close quarters such as a NASCAR race, tight campgrounds, concerts, etc. It is critical to exhaust the CO coming from the generator above the coach to protect the occupants of your RV and neighboring RV's. Carbon monoxide is deadly, being odorless & colorless. I also bought the 18" extension to be sure that the exhaust extends well above the roof line.

The extension worked as intended. The exhaust is now over the roof line. Simple math. My review is based on its cost. I don't understand why plastic can be as expensive.

If you have a class A motorhome, most likely you will need this extension as what comes in the basic kit barely reaches the top of the motorhome. Improved performance with this extension.
