This regulator comes with a 45-psi factory preset, but it can be set to the desired pressure using the adjustment screw in the cap. Settings above 60-psi are not recommended. Constructed of lead-free brass this regulator is compliant with all federal and state level low lead laws. CSA Low Lead Content Certified to NSF/ANSI 372. We found the screw on hose regulators, although great, restricted water too much. It helped prevent pressure from blowing hoses but the showers sucked with little flow. This CAMCO 40058 was obviously bigger and heavier but wow, what a difference in showers and washing dishes! Some people had complained about leaks and cracking cases, with the proper potable water sealant and not over doing the tightening, we have no leaks and works great. we added a 45 degree hose bib on one end and a 9" flexible spring hose on the other and easy to hook up or remove. Will buy again.

We have not used this with our RV yet!! Jupiter is summer time only!! We will hook it up in May and I can let you all know then!! But I will say it looks and feels very heavy duty. So we are hoping it is!! We bought it because last summer we had a leak inside the and it was a total pain to fix it!! Our RV friends said “ get a regulator†so we did!! ðŸ‘ðŸ‘ðŸ‘ðŸ‘

I have this pressure regulator mounted on the feed line for my steam cleaning machine, the ability to fine tune the pressure which is clearly indicated by the gauge is fantastic. This keeps low pressure lines from blowing as I routinely connects to different houses in different geographic areas which have vastly different water pressure, sometimes up to 150 psi. This part has saved me much hassle and headache.

This regulator worked great for our first RV trip. We installed it in conjunction with our water filter and it worked perfectly in providing the perfect 40-45 lbs. of pressure. It is very well made of high quality and should last a very long time. I would recommend this product.

Finally got a chance to use this as most of our camping is boondocking. Item worked as it should. My husband did make a slight adjustment to create a little more water pressure in our rig. We love that you have the option to do that when necessary with this particular regulator. Item did arrive a bit damaged as the reader that tells you your psi, was sitting wonky. Didn’t notice it until we finally got to use it. But it still did what it was designed to do.

Thus product worked for about 1 year than I guess it wore itself out. So I bought another. This one has lasted 2 years now and still working, I think, there's really no way to tell if the Guage is accurate 🤷

Works as expected. Have not attempted to alter pre-set pressure to date. Two camp sites where gauge was used, the water pressure did not exceed 40psi. The gauge provides useful information.
