Being nowhere near a sewer, I really NEEDED something like this. Works so well I bought a second unit and that makes THE CHORE much easier as I can stow and dump at my leisure

Seems very well built. I have used it twice, no issues. It fits under my trailer, is short enough to take outflow from my black water, but I also have 16" tires on my trailer, so its a crap shoot as to whether it will have a drop from any other trailer or not.... for me, works great, easy to use and dump. Bigger in size than what my minds eye had imagined, but 28gals is 28gals....has to go somewhere. I can manage it empty to get it up off the ground for transport, but 8lbs per gal = 224 lbs of load plus the weight of the unit, most of us aren't lifting a loaded one.....(I bought a receiver mounted deer hoist that swivels to lift it up and swivel it into my pickup) anyway, glad I bought it, I do lots of dry camping hauling in water for extended stays and I hated having to leave with my trailer to find an RV dump. Now I can just load it into my pickup, leave the trailer at camp and head to town to dump... Life is good...

Hate monitoring water usage when camping? Get this tank.Love taking hot showers in the comfort of your camper without having to walk a half mile to the bath house? GET THIS TANK.Hate having the park honey wagon camped in front of your rig? (louder for the people in the back) GET THIS TANK!!This thing literally saves marriages!Seriously though, this is worth every penny. It is extremely sturdy, but that does make it a bit heavy compared to other options out there. The horizontal (side) gate is a very nice option; you can leave the tank laying flat to empty it. It will be heavy when full, but it is still easy to maneuver courtesy of the very sturdy wheel set. The included accessory kit is a nice inclusion.I store it on the rear ladder of my camper with 2 ratchet straps (and a cable lock, since I store in an unmonitored storage lot). If I don't need it for any particular trip, it stay nicely out of the way on the back of the camper.The ONLY thing I would like to see improved is a slightly longer hose. If you are using the end drain instead of the side/horizontal gate, it is sometimes difficult to get the hose connected and positioned while also trying to lift the weight of the (full) tank. That's very minor issue, and given the horizontal gate option, I did not feel it warranted removing a star.

Good solid build that I expect to last for many years. Comes with a pretty good set of accessories to make using it as painless as possible. The only flaw so far is mine, not the product's.......I should have ordered the fill gauge for it, and will be soon!

I really like the design and quality of this tote - it's much better than the last one I had. The wheels are large and make it easy to move with either my truck or by hand. The bottom of the tank is designed appropriately so that the entire contents of the tank drains very easily without having to lift the front of the tote. The low mount slide valve used for drawing also makes for easy use. The hook on the front makes it a breeze to hang on my RV ladder for traveling. Lastly, the accessory kit has everything required to make life easy. However, I took off one star for the following reasons: 1) The drain valve is located on the wrong side of the tote! Every RV dump station I have used is configured to to drain tanks on the left side. This tote has its drain valve on the right side. As a result, when I get to the dump station I am forced to unhitch from my truck and man-handle the tote so it can be drained. This is very inconvenient! I may have reconsidered this purchase if I had realized this design error in advance. 2) The description in the add is very specific in telling you that you must have a tote that will handle the entire contents of your holding tank to avoid overflow. The holding tank on my RV is 30 gallons which seems to be a standard in the industry. But this tote is only 28 gallons. If I were to follow this advice, I would have had to buy the next size larger tank (36 gallons) which is twice the price. I guess I will just have to be careful and make sure with the 28 gallon option.

Bought this for a use when camping in remote areas and I can't get the camper to a dump site. The features make this a great holding tank. I recommend it to anyone. The Camco company stands behind their product 100%. Had a missing piece at delivery and give me no issues when I contacted them. Had the parts within days.This is not the lightest tank when full. It can be towed or pulled, just be aware it will weigh close to 200lbs. It does move well over ground with the large wheels.

I started camping last season and wanted a way to dispose of the waste without having to borrow another campers tote. Based on price and size this was the best option.I placed order on Sunday and the item arrived on Thursday, which is excellent turn around for how remote I am.I used it to dump my black water last weekend. It is a sturdy design, quick and easy setup with all the required attachments included.The caps and hoses have tight connections, I have no issues with the cap being loose. All caps and connections are tight with no worries on leaks.If you are going to tow the tank make sure you drive slow. Complaints about the tank not being sturdy when you are towing the tank while driving fast. Fast is anything above walking speed. If you are going to tow the tank to a dump site you should be driving at 10Kph.This is an addition from a couple of years with of use. I dump my black and grey water once a week. The tote is very sturdy and when compared to other products, I would not go to a different manufacturer if Camco makes the item I require. I live in a remote part of Canada and the weather is not nice. But this tote has stood the test of time and still looks like the day it was purchased, even if it does not smell like it.

Considering what this thing is supposed to do, it looks pretty cool. All the accessory hoses/fitting you get are pretty amazing too. Worked like a charm. Strapped it to the back ladder of my trailer for transport. Pulled it on the ball hitch to the dump station. Having a tank flush attachment built into unit is very convenient. Never had a problem with it. Very happy with this purchase.Also, I think that problems that others have encountered with the wheels has been resolved with a redesign of the wheel/axle assembly. Mine has been rock solid. See my attached picture for details.
