Much, MUCH improved over the stock plastic housing which finally cracked. Having the bung and the fitting for attaching a gauge to do fuel pressure checks is a huge advantage too. I was skeptical when orderinng, but it's been perfect.

2006 f250 6.0 power stroke It does not screw on by hand the only way you’d get it on is to force it and you’ll end up with metal shavings in your fuel bowl the Allen key bolt is lock tight on so you need to apply heat just to loosen it up which is ridiculous if you want to mess up your truck and give yourself a costly and time consuming headache then buy this other wise avoid it

I needed to replace my plastic one on 6.0 after it cracked. This one fits. The o-ring that was sent with it was noticeable thinner than the original and it leaked. I replaced it with the o-ring from my cracked cap and I have no problems now.
