It worked for the 5 times I used it, no longer works.Seems like it has a leak on the metal clamp on hose.

Does the job I bought if for and throws a powerful flame when needed. Only thing I have against it is the paint on the nozzle must not be heat paint as it flaked off during the first use. Still works fine though.

I love this torch for weed control. I ordered this because I had thought of getting one for many years, and decided to give one a try. I specifically wanted it for clearing weeds, grass and pine needles from my 50 yard long gravel driveway and some stone walkways. It works absolutely perfect for this use.I hit the major areas with some weed killer, give it about 3 days and then use the torch to clear the drying weeds. I have been very impressed with the results. So far, the areas where I have cleared using this method have remained weed free. Some new ones grow, and I repeat the process. It is super easy to clean up after by just lightly blowing the ashes (once completely cooled) with a low setting leaf blower.The torch is really easy to use and has simple, effective controls. It fits all standard American propane tanks, except some of the smaller ones for camp stoves. I did learn something new with this tool. All of my experience with propane tanks has been screwing hose type connections on to the outer threads of the tank. As it turns out most tanks also have internal threads so this type of connection can be screwed into the nozzle, not over it. That was a first for me. I had to call my local propane dealer and ask some questions when it arrived with a different connector than I was used to.The storage bag is really awesome. It is so nice to be able to keep all the pieces organized in one place. As a double bonus, When you take all the items out of the bag, they actually fit back in the bag. With room to spare. I wish other tool companies would take this example.

This device is perfect for clearing areas of your yard that have never ending vines whether they’re IV or Vinca or weaves burning them out with this device takes care of the endless, pulling and picking and cutting and pulling of deep rooted vines. It’s built well and has saved me a ton of time this summer and trying to get rid of those persistent weeds and vines that grow up the trees and climb all over the fences, I am pleased to say this does work for the purpose I’m using it for and would highly recommend it. Read the instructions don’t use this if it’s windy outside and make sure you have someone helping you when you’re burning leaves and roots and things like that to ensure no embers fly away and cause a structure to catch fire be responsible.

This torch appears to have quite a bit of power when you use the turbo mode. It actually made me jump a little the first time I used the turbo trigger because of how loud it got when the flame came bursting out. Even without the turbo trigger, if you turn the fuel regulator all the way up, which happens to be to the left and not the right, it does put out a good bit of flame on its own. The two pieces that make the torch, actually screw together left to right like most things do. However, the hose that attaches to the torch screws right to left. It took me a couple minutes to figure that out. Also, if you’re going to use this on a large tank, the tank must be threaded on the inside, and once again the hose screws on right to left. You will need a 22 mm wrench, or a pair of pliers, which is not included with this kit, in order to screw the hose onto the tank. So I would suggest picking up one and just keeping it in the handy orange campfire bag that comes with the kit. The bag and the torch appear to be very well made, other than getting used to the hose connectors screwing on right to left. I am looking forward to using this at the fire pit this fall and possibly burning some yard grass around the edges.

I'll admit this was requested after watching Steve from Camping with Steve use one a few times to light up his campfires :). This one works without issues and was easy to setup.There's only small little things I wish on it such as rubber grip on the handle and possibly a flip out handle towards the middle of the step for gripping reason. It might just be me but it's a little weird also turning a knob to the left to increase flow, which this torch requires you to do.The bag and all that is great. It does require you to break everything down to fit it in, but there's more than enough space for the two parts and the hose to fit in so it's ready whenever you want.Very giftable for the pyromaniacs in your life now. Or really nice for those burning the surface of their deck planks for a Shou Sugi Ban type installation.

I bought this because my neighbour bought a weed burner (different model) and I have borrowed it to many times so I thought I buy my own. I liked this one as it came with a bag. However the connections did not fit the standard 20 lb tank as well the wrenches that came with it, did not fit the nut. Poorly designed product.
