I use this on the Canon 100-300mm f/2.8L. The extra reach is handy and I’ve noticed no degradation in photo quality. It’s much less of a hit than the 2x.

Lo suelo acoplar a un RF 100-400 en una Canon R; lo cual sale más económico que ir a por un 100-500 y un significativo ahorro de peso, que es algo que cada vez valoro más a la hora de salir al campo.Es una combinación que me da buena calidad, ya que mis fotos no son para publicarlas en los carteles del metro o en vallas publicitarias. Seguro que con una buena ampliación alguien podrÃa encontrar diferencias significativas con los "super teles" de la serie L.Y si se utiliza en una APS-C, se evitará además, las defectos que puedan aparecer en las esquinas, o recortar un poco en las FF.Las fotos que pongo están tomadas con ISO 800,10.000 y 400 (esta última es además un recorte) respectivamente. Tampoco he hecho muchas más fotos, para poder elegir muestras para poner aquÃ.

The extender is great, but considering what you get for your money, a small bit of optical glass stuck between a ring of metal, it is grossly overpriced. The only advantage it has is that it saves you having to carry an extra lens in your bag when outside, and that was the reason I bought it, and for that reason it is a good addition to your kit.
